I've been suffering from chronic pain issues since 2006. I recently started going to a new clinic since January of this year. I have fibromyalgia, spinal stenosis, herniated discs, neck issue's, spine problems that start from my neck down my upper middle and lower spine, nerve damage in my left arm that starts from my neck down my upper arm and in the hands & fingers. The pain is horrible and never goes away, this includes my entire body, along with insomnia, depression, anxiety, RA, arthritis, carpal tunnel and from time to time it causes shooting pain in my legs. Also for my anxiety I get 90 clonazep g and methacarbamol for back spasms. So far this regime seems to help but 6 dilaudid a day along with 1 30mg oxycontin and 1 kadian are barely getting me through the month. I wake up in pain all hours of the night. I'm in constant pain everyday of my life. Any suggestions anyone? So tired of feeling the way I do, I'm in tears almost everyday. Help

Fentanyl might be an option you could speak with your doctor about. It's a very potent opiate and is available in a skin patch that is changed every 48 to 72 hours.

The FDA classifies it as a narcotic analgesic, so it has the potential to be habit forming and may cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, drowsiness, dry mouth and constipation.

What are your doses of the Oxycontin and Kadian? They may also be able to be adjusted.
