Help With Suboxone Withdrawal

I'm 13 days in withdrawal from Suboxone. I was on 8 mg for almost 2 years after abusing Vic/Perc for a little over year. I was never supposed to be put on this evil s*** and it's caused me to lose everything. I'm currently living in my girlfriends 2 bedroom house with her two kids. They all hate me so I basically hide in the basement thru this hell. Being alone is the hardest part for me. Will it ever end? I'm starting to think I don't want to live anymore ;(. Please help

Hi Jojo, Sorry to hear about the suboxone withdrawals. You're certainly not alone though, as I've seen a number of other patients posting on here who are undergoing the same "hell" as you called it. And I don't think that's an understatement either. Have you tried getting in to see a doctor/clinic for help with tapering off? That would ideally be your best bet (IMHO) for finding a way out of this mess in the long run. It may be that you have to continue treatment for a while longer as you strictly adhere to a tapering schedule that your doctor provides you with.

I don't know if anyone else who has personal experience would suggest anything different, other than turning to the streets for a fix. That's not something I agree with for many reasons, but people in desperate situations do whatever they need to do in order to get well again. There's a lot of support on this site as well if you search some of the related suboxone threads here.

I hope this helps!
