Help With Opana Detox

My boyfriend is on day 3 of an opana detox. Today he found blood in his stool. Is this a rare detox side effect or could it be another health issue? Also, is it better to stop cold turkey or take smaller amounts every day?

Hi I have been only taking up to maybe 2 oximorhone 5 a day with only taking 1/2 at a time! I was on 4 s hydromorphone no longer take will I have a major withdrawl or mild

No, that's not a normal withdrawal/detox symptom, they typically include nausea, dizziness, diarrhea, rebound pain, and anxiety, according to the NIH.

If it was bright red blood, that may be due to irritation from diarrhea, or hemorrhoids, according to the NIH, while old dark blood could be something internal, such as an ulceration.

Regardless of the cause, he should have it checked out by his doctor to be safe.
