Help Me Find A Doctor To Prescribe Klonopin, Adderall And Chronic Pain Meds (Page 4)

I moved to Minnesota and need to find a Doctor to prescribe Klonopin and Adderal or Dexadrine. I have high anxiety and panic disorder and can barely leave the house. I also have ADHD and can't start or finish anything without becoming stuck. I have chronic pain and was forced to start a Methadone program. I don't want to take it but have no choice because the pain is so bad. I am looked at like a "drug seeker" but I need my medication and don't know what to do.

I have severe anxiety and panic attacks. I feel as though I'm going crazy and might freak out at any moment. The only thing that has helped is kolonopin and I can't find anywhere to prescribe it.

Hi Kiki, I'm from central Maine also and having a problem finding a doc to prescribe my klonopin to me since I moved to this god forsaken state! I was hoping u found someone to prescribe benzos in this state?

Take your meds to get by and not to get hi and this won't be a problem

And the reason why you know what a nurse should know is because you're a doctor in psychiatrics, correct? Listen, I'm a living example of every benzodiazepine user. Who I am is of no importance. But, I would like to concur with our nurse that these withdraw symptoms spoken of are inaccurate. What the patient is experiencing is self created psychologically. Physical withdraw peaks at 72 hours depending on the amount taken and the length of time taken. But, not from klonopin. Yes, some physical withdraw is obvious because of the neurotransmitters. Rebound anxiety, etc etc. The majority of anxiety is created by the topic of our own thoughts. Feel free to message me for help. Librium is an answer. Getting over your mental issues and depression, negativity, hypochondrism...these are answers. I've been there and have shown many people the path back to anxiety free living. The problem isn't physical it's mental.

I think those with very little anxiety may not need such a drug as klonopin but yes this nurse is right ..every patient is different. I think that you need to be informed as well as your doctor and make an appropriate diagnosis prescribing as to the patients diagnosis and pros vs cons of such a drug. When your a patient that can't even leave your house or make calls for anything even to post such things as this you may need something like klonopin to help you survive life. This drug is the only drug allowed me to get my life back. And if you take it as prescribed and not overdue it then you usually do not get addicted. if you need to come off it then you gradually come off and you don't experience withdrawal. So to those who have gotten addicted then you may have an addictive behavior and therefore this drug may not be for you. But education is the best. Ignorance is the worse. Overreaction can take place if you have had a bad experience but don't scare patients from this drug because for some it's the difference between a life or a bed.

How is anybody gonna get to feeling better if doctors won't prescribe what their patients are in need of? This undermedicating b.s. is gonna stop. And it doesn't matter who you hang out with or how much money you have. Everybody is created equally.

Thank you. I've been on the same low dose Klonopin for many years (0.5 mg once a day) to prevent severe anxiety/panic attacks. Without it my life would be pretty much cooped up at home. I used to run out of stores, leaving full shopping baskets, due to panic attacks. I had to leave meetings and could not drive in traffic or over bridges. It has saved my life and I am tired of being disrespected and discriminated against for a disease that I've inherited from my parents.

Ok now I really have to jump in here. If you have ever been addicted to real pretty much non cut coke then you really only should have been going through mental withdrawals. More than likely you had been having coke laced with opioids to make you physically addicted. Oh and ce cee if you haven't quit taking illicit drugs you and your girlfriend nina need to give methadose TX a chance. #Someone who has

I live in South Minneapolis and I've been on clonazepam for 8 to 10 years for chronic anxiety panic disorder and social anxiety disorder. I am also on methadone 90 milligrams a day. My doctor recently took me off the canals of hand and I am unable to function not from the withdrawals from panic and anxiety. I need to find a doctor who understands that I'm not Doctor shopping or it being a drug addict I really need this medication to function in life does anybody know of a doctor out there that would be understanding it of my case

I would like to say something at this point. I have been dealing with debilitating panic attacks for several months mine are so extreme I won't pass out I freak out and think I'm going to die and my fight or flight kicks in I have screamed ran down the road begging people to take me to the hospital. Make a complete fool out of myself I got cuffed by a passing police officer and almost arrested strapped to a gurney and taken to the hospital.put in a mental health place for evaluation.. the only relief I have ever had for this was a friend who gave me a klonapin I took it at the onset of one of my attacks and it stopped it dead in its tracks.. I think it is a miracle drug.. yet my dr.refuses to give them to me because I have had an alcahol problem before.. I think that dr.s should lose there license for not giving me the only thing that stops what I call a living hell..I've tried all the anti depressants to no avail.. I am in constant fear of one of these attacks.. dr.s do your dang job and let me decide what's right for me.. I'll take the withdrawals anyday over the nightmare I live with on a daily basis. Thank you

m sorry but the way you described the scenario I can't stop laughing BC I experienced something similar thank God I can now control my inappropriate behavior with my prescribed Rx I suppose I'm one of the lucky ones

As an addict of every drug known benzos have been the hardest to kick!! All others were hard but this affects you mentally physically and the time frame is different for all my advice is to try every posible option before taking them , yes they work but unless you wanna take it for life or at some point have a withdrawal period from hell stay away'!

I feel your pain on that one! Due to the govenments ever increasing control & butting into our lives with their junk science - all doctors are taking people off of klonopin that have been on it for many years & med compliant. I went through my first major withdrawal over a month ago & I'm still not able to function on any level anymore out in public. I have so many debilitating symptoms that will probably never go away that I now have to try & deal with & I'm actually on disability for Severe Panic Disorder w/ Agoraphobia. What the f*** sense does that make after I was med compliant for 16 years?!
