Heavy Drug Uses And The Chances Of Recovering The Health Of My Liver.
UpdatedI am 30 years old about 140 pounds. For about 6 months out of each year ( when I have an excess of seasonal cash) since I was 23 I use very heavily. I will take 2 or 3 30mg roxycodone pills every day, and drink a bottle of wine or a six pack of beer at night. As if that is not damaging enough I will use 300 bucks worth of crack a week on top of this. Typically from about February to September use almost no pills or crack, but will still have 2 or 3 drinks a night. I used to bounce back pretty quickly from my binges, but this year it seems to be taking it's toll. I have extreme pain and soreness in my joints and muscles, and am extremely lethargic. I have a pretty good diet, always getting my daily intake of fresh greens& other vegetables. I am wondering if there is any possibility of recovering my liver and stomach back to a healthy state. Are there any good cleanses I can do to improve my health or help me bounce back to a normal healthy 30 year old. Also is there any chance all of this stress on my body could induce stomach or colon cancer? I have been getting sharp pains feeling like they are coming from my butt bones, and in my rectum. Is there any hope, or is it too late? Part of me says there is no turning back, what use has society of some broken junkie? Part of me says keep using til' your dead. Tried rehab, tried NA and meetings, doesn't work for me at all. Please recommend any reading material on diet habits that could help save my health. If don't change drastically soon I feel I will be knocking on deaths' door way to soon. Any good info could save my life, thank you for your concern, and on behalf of all junkies out there who can't seem to get it together IT IS TIME TO STOP AND LIVE A LIFE WORTH LIVING. And to all "NORMAL" people who have been hurt by junkies, some of us still really good natured people who can't stop, I am more deeply sorry and ashamed than words could ever express. If you really love someone and know they are not ill willed please don't give up on them, somewhere in there is a fragile person who longs for a fruitful life of love, and the hope of something better. Any young users out there take it how you want, but this is not a life worth living, stop while your young and can change quickly, before you end up like me and all the other junkies out there. No friends, no career, loved ones you've let down too many times, a life not worth living.

Hello, Shakes! How are you? I am so sorry about everything you've been through and the way you are feeling.
Life is definitely worth living, so please don't give up.
As to your symptoms, the best thing to do would be to see a doctor and honestly come clean about everything. Doing so will enable them to order some blood work, as well as other exams, which would enable them to see what damage has been done, if any, then what remedies need to be instituted.
Do you currently have a PCP that you could see about it?
