Has Anyone Taken Generic Adderall From Aurobindo Pharmaceuticals?
(Newest replies first)

I was scouting around for generic adderall from CorePharma , when i called Meijer pharmacy they said they carry Aurobindo. I've never heard of this pharm company before. Anybody taken adderall from Aurobindo? I alternate generic adderall from teva then corepharma. But since Dominick's grocery/pharmacy who carries it is now closed, I am having a hard time locating a pharmacy carrying Corepharma adderall. Any experiences from Aurobindo? I'd appreciate it.

You can demand change all you want, but most pharmacies are chains and the pharmacists don't choose what brand they get. Some purchaser at some headquarters office does. I try to convince my regular pharmacists to pass along the information but they are too busy and don't think they get around to it. Instead, call your congressman and get them to fund the FDA and give them some teeth. The FDA is underfunded and has minimal powers to act on issues. (Republicans hate regulation and the FDA and we are the ones paying for it) Thousands of drugs and can only test a relative handful a year. Even then they just basically say do better. So give them some funding, some authority, and a kick in the ass.
Re: Baddie (# 33)
On the FDA website it says Aurobindo has “temporarily discontinued” making Adderall. So maybe there’s some good news that they realized they are trash and stopped. We can only hope. Who knows, stay tuned.
Re: Jessika (# 27)
Teva Adderall sucks now as of Feb 2022. I’m in shock, considering they used to be the best. Lots of reports online about this in the last couple months.
I, on one occasion had the misfortune of visiting a pharmacy near where I was staying and I 'cashed in' my Auerobindo script. I knew immediately that there was something wrong. This was NOT Teva. I fell asleep for hours after and when I woke up, my body suffered aches. I will not ever take that again. Auerobindo and I do not mix well together.
I went to the doctors a week after starting this medicine because I believed I had kidney stones.. that is the amount of pain I’ve been in since switching to this brand. I get frequent headaches, nausea, and numbness in my hands and all I want to do is sleep.
HORRIBLE! I am aware different meds effect different people, but this almost has as bad of a reputation as Mallinkroft (sp)
Made me sleepy, physically tired, and basically unable to function, The doctor said get off of them ASAP and promptly wrote another script for something else... good ole Teva :)
Aurobindo and Accord medications aren’t effective in my experience.
I think it's fake and I refuse to take those.
Re: itsmehere (# 26)
This company provides a useless medication that has many side effects due to the poor quality ingredients. Make a change and stop talking about it. Refuse to purchase a generic and demand Teva. It’s the only way to get the medical help you so desperately need.
Well this is funny. I’ve taken this asthma/allergy medicine called Singulair for many years. One month I filled it and had crazy asthma attacks and allergies the entire month. The next month I switched to brand and it resolved itself. I kept the bottle, just checked it out, says it’s manufactured by Aurobindo. What is wrong with this company???
Aurobindo aka Northstar aka Aurolife is the only generic I’ve had a problem with in 15 years of taking this. Puts me in the nastiest mood and gives a headache. I like any other, I like Lannett even though apparently no one else does. But Aurobindo, NOPE! Company is from India and has been in trouble before for their lab conditions. They shouldn’t be allowed to do this
Horrible, horrible, horrible for me. I would have rather gotten hit by a truck. Lethargy beyond belief and total body aches. I have never taken an alternative to TEVA except for this one. Too bad now I/we can't get TEVA anymore since Lannett bought out and distributes TEVA brand.
Re: DeLynne (# 1)
Extreme digestion problems with this Manufacturer. The quality is better than Linnett . Not as effective as Teva . Molecularly they are not the same . Don’t let them lie to you .
Google aurobinda complaints, you'll see. There is, adderall info on them.
I picked up my rx ..I take 20 mg..never have had a problem and been taking for years.
This brand is awful..actually seems to do the exact opposite of what adderall is suppose to do.
Sluggish..headache nausea..its so so bad..
I feel drugged...like poison
Find a pharmacy that carries a different manufacturer
Re: Darrinstone (# 5)
Mallinckrodt makes a generic brand that is not as good as the name brand, it is so bad that Drs. have filed a complaint with the FDA and Mallinckrodt has filed a lawsuit. Mallinckrodt makes a week Percocet too that needs to be looked at.
Re: DeLynne (# 1)
Was it a large chain pharmacy? I take adderall for adult add and I've had teva the last 6 years. Once in those 6 years I was given a small little dark blue. #10 and it was terrible. I can't remember the name but I have a feeling it could have been this brand and it came from CVS. Terrible!
Last month my rx gave me Aurobindo. It looked different so I called CVS. They said it was a different manufacture but the same product. It is NOT! The first thing I noticed was lack of focus and energy, then anxiety. After about 10 days I started getting migraines and sores on my face and in my mouth. The pharmacy says it has nothing to do with the medicine. I called my Dr. He said he has had several similar complaints from other patients on generic adderall, and it could be the fillers. I can't find a pharmacy that carries a different pill so my Dr. wrote my new rx for name brand. My insurance won't cover it. It's $675.00 for 1 month. I am in full blown mania now and have a Dr. appt. tomorrow. Good luck to you.
Mallinckrodt generic Adderall IR has no efficacy at all, and I have tried every generic Adderall brand there is
Corepharma generic Adderall IR has been discontinued. And sadly, I had heard they recently improved.
It is funny, because just about every generic Adderall someone has something bad to say about it
Teva generic Adderall IR, although it seems to be less potent than it was a few years ago, is the only generic that I find to be somewhat acceptable. Anyone else suggest anything better?
