This is not a Subutex tablet, this is a generic for Suboxone, it contains 8mgs of Buprenorphine and 2mgs of Naloxone and it is a regular tablet that's meant to be swallowed. It is not orally disintegrating.

This is still a narcotic opiate, so it does carry the risk of being habit forming and it may cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, drowsiness and constipation.

hi...i was shocked to read this...is this a new generic for suboxone? i had heard something about the....at a loss for the word, when you have exclusivity for a drug and generics can't be made, i'd not known of suboxone having a generic, i'd only heard of subutex which i know is not the same. I will do some sleuthing - any additional info, maybe the manufacturer, would be awesome, thank u!!

Actually it is sublingual, not to be swallowed whole, it is meant to be absorbed through the saliva just like the sub strips or other sub pills.

Why give people advice when you don't know what the f*** your talking about? That is a generic suboxone and, like ALL buprenorphine tablets, is made to be taken under the younger. Swallowing bupe makes it worthless. You'll be lucky if you get 5% b.a. why would you give someone such obviously stupid advise? Do you want to make someone sick? Is that whats going on.
The naloxone is more likely to be active when swallowed than the bile.

Everybody: Do you get the whites or the oranges? I get the whites and I like em. I heard the oranges suck. So i dont dare to try them and be stuck with a whole script but i am curious. The whites come on sooner and stronger and last longer. Not sure yet if I prefer the flavor to the original suboxone tablet.

That is wrong.. it is a sub-lingual! Its the same as the orange 8mg hexagon tabs. Just generic. Its used the same way.

Absolutely correct I go to a sub doc monthly and get the 8/2 and they HAVE to be absorbed under the tongue or they're absolutely useless for anything.
