Heart Problems
UpdatedI am a heart patient. My cholesterol is under controlled by taking one tab of above in the evening after food/fruits. I am also under treatment for diabetis (two tabs of 30mg Diamicron MR in the morning}. I still suffer from pins and needles in my lower legs especially when I walk or do light exercise/swim. I am also on Casprin 100mg and high blood pressure pill (Atenolol 100mg daily). Is the combined "mix" OK?

I'm sorry, what medication did you mean by one tab of the above? You posted this under the Atenolol forums. Without knowing what medication you are talking about for cholesterol, I can't check any information on that one, for you.
Casprin contains the active ingredient Aspirin, for patients with heart and blood pressure problems, it is used as a blood thinner.
Common side effects may include: nausea, drowsiness, headache and risk of bleeding.

Atenolol is a beta blocker that is commonly used to treat high blood pressure and cardiac conditions.
Common side effects may include: nausea, dizziness, headache and stomach pain.

Using the Aspirin with the Atenolol can result in even further blood thinning and, since this affects your circulation, it may contribute to the problem you are experiencing.
Another alternative would be some nerve damage from the diabetes, which could also cause this type of problem.
Have you spoken to your doctor, yet? You do need to get to the root of what it causing the problem, so a solution can be found.
A week ago I did my urine and blood tests. The nurse in-charge phoned to tell me I have developed kidney problems. I have to see the results on the 13 Apr 11. She did not mention protein or creatinine levels. I need to confirm this. The question is what has affected my kidneys. At the same time my heart beat has gone as low as 52 beats per min. The nurse told me there is no cure to strengthen my weak heart muscles. True?
Lip, I can't say for sure what has caused you to develop a kidney problem, because there are several possibilities.
One could be due to your heart problem itself, if you're not getting proper circulation of blood and oxygen throughout your body, it can result in organ damage.
Or another possibility is from one or more of your medications. The Atenolol is almost exclusively eliminated renally.

As to strengthening your heart, no there is no medication that is going to cure its weakness, however, the heart is a muscle, so exercise can help strengthen it and improve its function and that's really the only way to do it. Most people with heart problems need to start off slow, but any activity that raises your heart rate and gets it working can help, such as cycling, jogging, brisk walking and etc.
You'll also want to make sure you stick with a healthy diet and avoid smoking and excessive drinking.
