Found a small round green pill that has a half moon and 160 on it what is it?
Hydroxyzine 25mg... Class 1st gen Antihistamines... Uses: anxiety, some allergic reactions, and many other uses as doctor sees fit. Metabolized Hepatic Half life 20-24 hrs.
This should give you what you need to research this medication further. This med does carry a strong interaction with alcohol warning as well as a few more.
Jacob please see my response it's the 3rd comment. I answered this back in January for someone. It is not designer nor particularly dangerous. It's a first gen antihistamine mostly used now days for anxiety.
I am having the same problem identifying this pill. Have you had any luck?
Hi Sloth,
While I'm not exactly sure what pill you have there, I do know that Actavis Pharmaceuticals is known for putting a half moon logo on their tablets. That said, I'd probably encourage you to contact the manufacturer directly for more specific details on what this might be.
NOTE: As of August 3rd 2016, Actavis has reportedly been acquired by Teva Pharmaceuticals, so any reference to Actavis is now a part of Teva; whom you can reach via email at [email protected] (for product information inquiries).
Whereabouts did you get it from?
Re: David (# 1)
I have some pills called Hydroxyzine 25mg north 1000Tab round and green with a ?? on top and the number is c 160
Re: Peach (# 7)
The ?? on the green hydroxyzine 25mg pill is a half moon which is the logo for the manufacturer Actavis. They are actually e160 not c. Hope this helps.
Re: Roy (# 6)
Hi, the hydroxyzine 25mg is E160 although it is an undercase "e" and the opposite side has the half moon Actavis logo. I've not looked at the database to see how it's represented. Hope this helps.
What is this medication used for and how does it work?
Thank you Carter - I am having a bit of a challenge finding that exact inscription in the NIH database though. It keeps showing as "E 160", so I don't now if the E is supposed to be referencing a stylized logo or something. Could the original inscription be referring to an over the counter product of some kind?
