Glycomet 850mg And Glucovance 500/2.5mg

I have had diabetes type 2 since 1968 off and on till about 10 years ago. I have it regularly now and I am 79yrs old. I am taking Glucovance 500/2.5mg regularly. Please, what is your advice on Glycomet 850?

Diabetes isn't a disease that you can have off an on, you either have it, or you don't. It may be under better control sometimes, but if you have it, you always have it.

As to the medications, which one has your doctor advised you to take? What are your current sugar levels?

The NIH lists the typical side effects as possibly including nausea, dizziness, headache, diarrhea, and hypoglycemia.
