hi! glutaphos helps but it gives your brain burden to function more. there's no physical side effect but if you stop the use of it, your brain cells will not work as much. you can probably have memory gaps. i'm recommending to just take vitamin C plus iron. :)
Glutaphos is a neurotonic brain vitamin tablet that is designed to help enhance the memory. Indications for Glutaphos includes enhancing mental faculties, productivity, concentration, alacrity, memory, alertness and concentration. It refreshes one’s sluggish system in case of mental and physical fatigue.
Only Glutaphos has glutamic acid and other essential nutrients that keep your brain healthy and fit. It contains nutrients that are naturally found in the body. It is non addictive, does not cause undesirable side effects
The Glutamic Acid in Glutaphos is one of the most important brain nutrients and is considered as brain fuel. Acts as excitatory agents on the post synaptic membranes of many neurons. Facilitates rapid transit of impulses through the brain nerves. improves over-all brain health and mental performance.
Glutaphos contains Thiamine or Vitamin B1 which provides body, brain and nervous system with energy. While VITAMIN B12 that helps improves memory, lowers the risk of heart disease, promotes concentration, and delays or lowers the risk of Alzheimer’s disease
Glutaphos aids in transmission of nerve impulses and provides stable and plentiful energy because it has Dicalcuim Phosphate

So far I have also tried drinking Glutaphos since high school... I was a member of the parliamentary procedures group of the school, which warrants immediate formation of arguments. It feels good that it was really effective. Frank to say, I also tried Memo Plus Gold, which was sold over the counter. It costs around 12 php, but it has never made my memory effective after 3 months of continuous drinking. With Glutaphos (which was around 9-10 php), I felt a little improvement. I have been a long term taker of the drug, pero wala pa namang side effects. My pharmacy major friend told me that it can induce hypertension (due to its Calcium content), yet nothing happens. What seems to be evident is that i feel dizzy and sleepy after 2-3 hours of drinking the tablet. it is enteric coated, I believe... So I recommend to drink it before you sleep. I hope this helps a lot!

Ill be taking the board exam next year. My dermatologist told me that B vitamins causes pimples and acne. I'm taking glutaphos as well and I saw the component of vitamin B12 which is a B vitamin. That's why I also have breakouts on my skin. I'll stop taking it if my face gets worst. I maybe try another memory enhancer which doesn't contain B vitamins like Memo plus Gold.

Glutaphos is actually a supplement, touted to help with memory issues, it contains Glutamic Acid (Glutamine), Dicalcium Phosphate (Calcium), Thiamine (Vitamin B1) and Vitamin B12. It is available by prescription in the Philippines.
As far as adverse events are concerned, MedlinePlus [1] lists the following potential side effects associated with Glutamic Acid (Glutamine) supplementation:
That said, since each one of these ingredients are naturally present in a healthy balanced diet, the only real concern in my opinion is simply overdoing it and taking too much of any one ingredient. Otherwise, the individual ingredients themselves are generally regarded as safe in normal doses.
Hope this helps!
