Glucored Forte actually contains Glyburide and Metformin, this is a medication used by Diabetics to help control blood sugar levels.

Diabetic patient since more than 20 years.
Per day I am using 4 - 6 tabs Glucored forte 5 + 500mg plus 2 - 4 tabs Poliglitazole 30mg.
It is difficult for me to maintain this in a permanent way. Are there any alternatives on drugs with even better treatment ?

I am based in the US and am using Glucored forte tabs which I bought in India. Since i am running out of them, would like to know if anyone knows how I can get them in the US (are they sold over the counter under the same name?)

Re.availability of Glucored Forte, one could contact my supplier Asian Chemist, 241 Hill Road, Bandra, Mumbai 400050. I am using it for some time and my blood sugar in the morning is 97 but postlunch 219. I am trying to find reasons for the wide gap and difference between Glynese MF and Glucored Forte.

My doctors have been prescribing Gylnese MF and Glycored Forte alternatively,At some stage my doctor said I do not have diabetes. Then over a period, my blood sugar jumped to 220. one day I noticed by blood sugar had come down to 97. I wondered it ws the tsblet I was taking (glucored forte) or my blood testing monitor. Yes, I should consult my doctor. His OPD charges is Rs.800 and he disposes me off in two minutes. I am 82 years old , no source of income nor covered by any insurance. I hate to go to public hospitals, Thei docors visit are uncertain and one has to wait endlessly. I therefore will depend uon these two tablets and monitor my blood sugar on my blood sugar moonitor.

Hello, I am a diabetic patient since 5 years and I am a age of 70 years old. I am start to take Glucored Forte since 5 Months I take one tablets in the moring and one at the night, in fasting my sugar level is under 100, whenever I eat rice and meat (Biryani) my sugar goes up to 280-300. after 3 hours of eaten when I get hungry again I check my sugar level again it shows between 70-100. if I don't eat right away the level goes down. Please advise me what to aviod eating. and also direct me how to take Glucored Forte tablets. I also need to know if there's any side effects.

I have been using Glucored fort since last 3 yrs is there any side effect if I continue it for long .daily I take 1 half an hour before lunch and 1/2 teblet half an hour before dinner kindly inform and after dinner i take gluconorm sr 1gm and on tab ramipril 2.5mg after b/fast

my doctor prescribing galvus met (5mg/1000mg)
one in morning after food and half in night
provided Amaryl 1 mg for before food in morning
i am 37 years old man

how about my medicine
my level average 110 Fasting 150 pp

I've been taking Glucored Forte (Glibenclamide and Metformin). I take half a pill in the morning, at noon and at night after meals. Is this the recommended dosing protocol?
