Anything to relieve this sickness. The worst part is the anxiety I get, I feel like my heart is jumping out of my chest. Any help appreciated. Thanks.

Yes you will definitely get sick for being on percocet for that long. The best advise I can give to you is to get on methadone. That would take all of your withdraws away!! You have to get a prescription from a pain management doctor. Trust me on this I was on 8 percocets a day. 2 every 6 hours. Then I suggested methadone, and my pain management Dr had no problem prescribing it too me.. So just ask your pain Dr if he would prescribe you 10mg's 2 four times a day,and then you'll have no more problems...
Take suboxin it will help take the edge off and relieve your withdrawal symptoms. Ask your doctor but only take them for 3 days and you will feel better. Good Luck!!
Register to a pain clinic & go on Suboxone 8mg/2mg tabs...they take you out of pain & get you out of your addiction.
Suboxone is definetly a way to get off oxycodone without the withdrawl symptoms, but if you don't take it properly, it can be addicting as well. I know many peopple who just traded their percocet addiction for a suboxone addiction and then getting off that is just as difficult. To use suboxone he is right you are supposed to take it for 5-7 days, how ever long it takes for you to stop feeling withdrawl symptoms, then stop. Many people don't stop because they find suboxone to be just as enjoyable then they cant stop taking that either. So if your going to use suboxone treatments you need to be committed and quit as soon as you start feeling better without it.
Hi Sue,
if ur trying to get off percocets there is a blocker and u don't detox its called suboxin (not sure if thats how its spelled) Percocets is a 7day detox and u would take them for the 7 days u put it under ur tongue and let it dissolve because it goes into ur bloodstream from the veins under ur tongue.. I seen ur post and I can't believe no one told u about it

For those of you who are concerned about the side effects of Percocet, or trying to figure out how to get off this medication I urge you to read the helpful and encouraging postings found under the drug name Oxycontin. In case you are not aware of this information already, Percocet is Oxycontin in it's immediate release form. Therefore all the information discussed under Oxycontin is essentially discussing the drug you are currently taking for pain. You will know you found the right discussion page on Oxycontin if you see my many postings which I started over a year ago when I was taking very high levels of controlled release Oxycontin. Today I am Oxycontin free and urging others on how to tackle this challenge.
I found a yellow round pill will a M in the box on one side and 595 on the other . need to find out what it is
Have you ever tried cutting the pills in half and taking them further and further apart in time
Hi Suel,
I am a psychotherapist and a holistic practitioner. I work with people who want to deal with pain without medicating themselves. There is a great deal of research now on a technique called MBSR (Mindfulness Based Stress Reduction). Basically, it's a meditation technique that people learn to deal with chronic pain, anxiety and even depression. It's been shown to be very effective. I don't know where you live but I offer it here in Los Angeles. Otherwise, look up MBSR and the city you live in and you should get some hits. With that said, others are right about not stopping the meds on your own. Consult your physician and come off the drugs gradually. Also look into acupuncture and herbs to deal with any symptoms of withdrawal. I hope this is helpful.

Go see your doctor. I am sure he will be happy to hear that you are trying to get off the pains pills & he can take you off of them the correct way. it is very understanding how you got addicted to the pain pills, but please get proper help to come off of them.
There is a high risk of experiencing severe withdrawal symptoms if a patient discontinues oxycodone (Percocet) abruptly. Therefore therapy should be gradually discontinued rather than abruptly discontinued. It is known to have anxiety and flu like symtoms when stopping Percocet.
