I honestly wish I had an answer for you, but I don't. The same thing has been happening all over Florida, as well, there have been many posts about it.
It would even make more sense if the doctor was very far away, so they may not be able to verify that they are legitimate prescriptions, but that doesn't seem to apply in most of these cases.
What are you prescriptions for? Is there any pharmacy closer to your doctor that you can use to get them filled?

Ask your Dr's office to help you find a pharmacy willing to fill your script. If your really nice and patient they shouldn't have a problem with that at all! And if they do, find a new doctor!
P.S. Also, since this issue with your former pharmacies came up so suddenly you might want to at the very least google your Dr's name to see what pops up. If things check out there, go to medicalboard.georgia.gov website. It's a great place to start as far as checking to see if your Dr has any licensing issues. Finally, the georgia pharmacy board web site is very helpful as you can see if the Dr has any issues or troubles with the pharmacy board. A pharmacy/pharmacist will look you in the eye & make up every lie in the book as to why they can't fill your script even tho they've filled it every single month for five freakin years while happily collecting the $2500 from your ins company. And they don't care if you run out of your medication and experience debilitating sickness or die. It's insane. I can tell you for sure Purdue Pharmaceuticals hasn't run out of or stopped making ANY strength of your Oxycontin or whatever maker is manufacturing your particular pain medicine. In fact I'd contact the manufacturer of your medicine. Get them involved. It's SOOO very unethical for a pharmacy to just dismiss you suddenly & to lie about it is reprehensible. One more thing would be to talk to your primary care physician. Perhaps he/she will give you a script for thirty days of your meds & refer you to a new Dr. Best of luck to you!!!
