who has been suboxone CVS or walgreens.I know thwy are generic but which is better of the two
Furthermore when implying stupidity towards others, at least have the common decency to utilize spellcheck.
Good thing I'm as stupid as you believe so I could gather some basic understanding of the ineptitude that are your "insults".
Jeremy stop being a troll. It's not a sign of incompetence that I was misinformed initially about the existence of suboxone tablets even still being marketed.
Somehow actually educating myself and proceeding to share the information the pharmacist gave me makes me fall short on the evolutionary ladder?
Sounds like you need a xanax prescription to go with the suboxone, YOUR short comings are pretty evident.
Have a lovely day, you angry, egotistical little man.
Generics tablets have been out for a year as of this monthand there are 2 different brands. Actavis (white, quarter moon logo) is carried by CVS, Ameal (orange round, imprint AN over 415) is generally carried by Walgreens. In my opinion the white tab by Actavis blows the others out of the water. I go to Rite Aid where my pharmacist orders me whatever i want and treats me with totalrespect. There is a note in my file that says Actavis brand only. The orange generic is total crap IMO. There is a branf name drug called Zubsolv that is pretty good it just doesnt last as long sometimes. Those have been out since .Sept '13. To the person who said there were only strips and generic tex, i apologize for tearing you up under 1citcumstance: if you reside in the statevof West Virginia. The reason being that due to political reasons and shady R.B pharm reps, tablets are illegal and only strips are allowed. In that case, one could easily believe that strips are all there is without being totally brainless. However if this is not the case, I'd like to suggest you string up, before you procrate and continue to dumb down humanity, you brainless d-bag!!
To start, there are many different strengths of suboxone/generic buprenorphine + naloxone, however, the eight mg contains 8mgs of bupe, not 6. How did anyone ever get the idea that the 2 different ingredients would be added together to get the product strength amount even though one is inactive when taken correctly and only put in to deter abuse and has absolutly no theraputic effect or value whatsoever? It is called 8/2mg because thats what it is, otherwise itd be a 6/2mg. Accurately, by the nature of the formulation it'd have to be 6/1.5mgs, as a matter of fact. Next, we'll move on to the person who thinks that there are no tablets, just films or straight bupe/subutex. I've been taking the Actavis brand generic for 10 of the last 11 months and tried the Amneal generic for one month (big mistake).
At least in this case its harmless information that can't hurt anyone at least as far as i can see. However, in many cases a naive individual can really screw themselves up when their knowledge is inaccurate. So i ask all that read this to please only post accurate facts. Somebodys safety just may depend on it.
Yeah I asked the pharmacist the other day and he told me they still make the suboxone tablets and there are generics of the tablet but not the films.
Suboxone pharmaceutical company has a program called Here to Help, two versions actually the one is just a recovery group but they'll give the info you need if you call by accident. Anyway if you have no insurance your prescription is covered for a year, and each doctor is allowed only three patients at a time enrolled so you might havr to wait. But its worth checking into! I have the contact info if anyone needs it, or just ask your docs office if they have a free spot, a lot patients don't know about it so you may have a chance.
FDA only recently approved generics for suboxone. But they are not on sales yet. as far as i know...Generics are the same thing. It may taste different but i do not understand why people would pay more money for any branded medication.....

Again, go to suboxone.com and ask for 1 year free program.
There are no pill forms of Suboxone now FYI, only the name brand films or SUBUTEX, in pill form which is not Suboxone and is usually only used in certain circumstances, but is financially cheaper.
Subutex is generally prescribed to pregnant or breastfeeding mothers since the side effects, so far, are almost nonexistent. Sometimes it is prescribed in place of Suboxone if you experience chronic headaches from such.
Although awhile back pharmacies were phasing out the old suboxone and did still have it available for filling if your doctor did not specify if you're to be prescribed the films or tablets, but once those are gone your left with the films as your only option until, probably phased in for the same reasoning, patents for a generic film are allowed. Which is usually seven years after the initial...unless there's a pandemic then patent laws are tossed aside.
The difference between the two.... Walgreens has the orange generics and cvs has the white generics. I had both and imo, they're exactly the same. But if I had to choose, I would go with walgreens only bc in my head I feel as though they're closer to the brand name.
Walgreens or CVS has the exact same thing when it comes to suboxen, not sure what dose you are on but an 8mg suboxen strip will have 6mg of buprenorphine and 2mg of naloxone.
You're really asking a subjective question, because a generic that works well for one person may not work that well for you and vice-versa.
What you really need to discover is which one works best for you.
