Generic Suboxine And Constipation

I have been on Suboxone strips for sometime now but was just change over to the generic the one with the half moon , because of insurance purposes and It seems like constipation is MUCH worse ! Has any one else experienced this?

Hello, Kitty! How are you? I'm sorry about the problem that you're having.

As reported by the FDA, constipation can be a normal side effect, you may also experience nausea, dizziness and headache.

It is possible that the generic could be a little stronger than the name brand, since under the Hatch-Waxman Act of 1984, they are allowed to differ by as much as plus or minus 20% of the active ingredient, so that could be why your constipation is worse with this one.

Have you tried anything to alleviate it, such as fiber supplements, if you're allowed to take them?
