Generic Norco M367 10/325 (Page 8)
UpdatedIt's no good. I have to take three at a time for 1 hour of pain relief. Anybody else have this problem with M367 - 10/325? Has anyone else noticed that meds from certain manufacturers do not work as well for them?
I've been prescribed over a year, I was taking lortabs when no one ever heard of Norco. I been taking lortabs and norco since I was a teenager everyday and I'm still not addicted. I have chronic pain since I was 19 and I'm now 31 so know your facts before you try to call me out. And any one that has something to say about my comment is obviously mad cause I spoke the truth and they are addicts. If your meds aren't working after taking 3 in a row then there's a big problem going on, called addicted. Look at the main title, he states that he takes three in a row and feels nothing. He is trying to get a buzz. I don't take pills for euphoria. One will help my pain and then I'm good. Sorry everyone's addicted in here but the more complaining to doctors, hospitals, pharmacies is the reason why good people can't get any help. All you all bad apples spoil it for the good ones. Shame on you all.
Jeff thank you for explaining this to her some get it some don't well said.
I get it that you are an addict. God help you
I'm sorry but no junkie on here is going to make me feel bad because my med is working cause I take like I'm supposed to. I have chronic pain and I manage it hince pain management. If you are in that much pain then get on morphine lol. That probably wouldn't work either lol
Precious, You changed your story. Huh.. I don't think you understand the difference between addiction and dependent. Young people in your age category generally get addicted to these type medications. You see, doctors vary rarely write scripts of this nature to young people your age. You have a long time to live your life yet and are too young to be on any long term pain management program. Any doctor knows that your use is extremely limited. This use of these medications can have grave consequences in your young life. However, older people like myself. Id say I am old enough to be your parent that has lived that part of my life, do not have the risk of an addiction like you would. Therefore, when someone my age (well over 50) has chronic pain, we become dependent on medication to function each day for the short period of time we have left in life to live because we have a real reason to be on this type medication. In many cases, like mine, we have a legitimate cause and reason to take this medication for the rest of our lives and will never have a problem getting it. So who cares about addiction? You, on the other hand, run a very high risk of addiction because no doctor, nowhere, no how will keep you on this medication for the rest of your life. So I suggest to you to figure out a way to manage your pain without these type drugs. Bragging about how you are immune to any long term effects and how happy you are is plain silly.
Jeff, it is true that with age comes wisdom. Well said, sir. I have a number of pain issues and if I am without my meds for a week, I can barely get out of bed, let alone have the will to go through daily functions. Precious obviously just wants to stir the pot with her superior pain-handling abilities. I, for one, hope that when she is older she doesn't experience the kind of pain you and I suffer with. She would have to eat her words. We are legitimate pain sufferers that no over-the-counter pain meds will even touch to ease the suffering. Precious needs to back off and read these posts with a grain of salt, and stop responding negatively. Do you think we are happy about needing meds? Besides the cost, the idea of taking something every day for the rest of our lives (I am 62) is hard to deal with. To the legitimate pain sufferers, do not pay any attention to negative people's rants.
I've been on meds one yr so far with Norco and 8 yrs with klonopin and no problem and Dr decides to take me of then that's fine. I will still live. Dependant and addiction is the same to me. And I'm glad you are old enough to be my dad but you aren't my dad so you don't need to talk to me like I'm a child. And as for my Dr, do you see him too? You would think so since you know what my Dr will do. If you can't live without your meds then you are addicted or in your case dependant lol. My dad had major surgery on his back with a 12 inch scar and he don't complain. He hurts everyday but he takes a hot bath to relieve the tension from just waking up but he has never took a pill for pain and he hurts a lot. We are just a family of non dependants on drugs. We never been on drugs and don't abuse the prescriptions. But keep talking cause I'm young and your old so that makes you automatically right lol. Good luck in rehab lol
Sandy good luck with your rehab also. So sad you can't function without meds and I never said over the counter works for me or I wouldn't be in pain management. And the older the wiser? Lol I guarantee that's a lie. I know some stupid old people that do stupid stuff and go to prison. That's there life but yet since he's older he's wiser? Sorry but no lol
I think Precious needs to be removed from this thread as an instigator and too low of an IQ to understand the contents...just sayin'.
I have reported this person to the admin
Oh please. This junkie thinks you are nuts in the head. Get off the dope. You are too young to be using elderly people's medicine at your age. You guys are the reason we are having this abuse problem nationwide. Exercise, eat well and take an advil. When you get older, then you will have the pain that requires the hard stuff. For now deal with it.
Precious how is it that you are even on this site if you have no problems with your pain. Is it that you have nothing better to do but to look for people to put down and degrade. It is obvious you do have a problem. It may not be with pain control and addiction but maybe some mental issues. I will pray for you. Please get the help you need.
Precious was taking drugs at age 14 and now at 31? she is fine. Take her off of her meds and she will see that only SHE is the addict. I won't waste my time with anyone who calls themselves Precious.
At age 31 I took nothing but vitamins.
I don't take my meds everyday and I'm fine so..... Lol if you keep reading you will see that I can go without my meds and I'm fine. Lol you just wanted to be heard lol. No one cares about you junkies, that's why you all are getting mad cause I won't agree that the need don't work as good cause I don't do drugs and I don't b**** to my Dr for stronger meds. People are on here talking about all of you all get together and write the community letters to bring back lortabs. Really?? No I'm wrong you ain't addicts, when you are ready to write congressman about stronger meds makes you look like an addict and they will just laugh and blow y'all off. People keep complaining will be the ones with no meds cause drs are tired of hearing about it. Like I said, I'm a breath of fresh air to my Dr. No problems with me. Sorry for y'all. I'm happy when I write this and y'all are getting mad. Something ain't right there. Can we say addicts. And don't trust me cause my name is Precious, I don't care, this is the name my parents gave me and I'm proud of it. It fits me well :-) <3
Touche', Jasmine. I have reported her post. We will see what happens.
Precious
I'm 63 and have been retired nine years. I take two in the morning and two in the evening. A few times a week I don't need the evening dose. A few times a month I might have to take another one in the AM since this is the most painful part of the day for me. I've been taking Norco for over 8yrs and have not had to move up to anything stronger. Who on here is a junkie and how many do they take a day?
Not a good thing to do. Let all have their say without censorship.
The person who started this thread said he takes 3 pills at once and they do nothing.
Everyone else here has been taking medication as recommended, but they have been attacked by precious.
As for free speech there are rules about being downright nasty, and trying to attack people with legitimate pain. Every web site warns about rudeness and unacceptable behavior.
M367 Norco-are no good! They do not ease pain, they do help with the nagging achiness, they are worthless! I have osteoarthritis in both knees. M367are as strong as baby tylenol. i can't believe Mallinckrodt Pharmaceuticals is allowed to put this cheap-weak-generic, non effective, crap on the market. i guess they assume we will take 4-5pills at one time, be addicted and still not get any relief. well they are wrong! Its useless medication. Mallinckrodt needs to put a pain reliever on the market that is effective. we consumers should refuse to use it and insist on something else.
Karen, that sums them up completely. Have your doctor write for another brand, like Qualitest, that will work. It is hard to believe the M367's are on the market.
