Generic Norco M367 10/325 (Page 24)

Updated

It's no good. I have to take three at a time for 1 hour of pain relief. Anybody else have this problem with M367 - 10/325? Has anyone else noticed that meds from certain manufacturers do not work as well for them?

Its very sad that the drug companies are making these garbage pain pills , ppl that r in true pain. can't get relief. the pharmacies around here that's all they carry now ,&they r not cheap shame on them for ppl in true pain. greedy pharmaceutical companies &i guess its cheaper for pharmacies so they paddle these garbage pills on to ppl with true pill what's this world coming too

Why don't you have your doctor write "Qualitest Brand Only" on the script? They may have to order it but you will get the medicine that works well. Best of luck. I know how hard it is, believe me. I am still waiting for the day when the gov. pulls the pain meds completely, then we will all be up the creek.

Sorry but what she says is true. I'm a pain patient and yes they are now very insensitive to pain. My quality of life has went way way down because of the government pulling meds of the shelves. Cutting doses and no doesn't matter if your straight up legit like I am they are highly insensitive. This is hitting ALL pain clinics you may just be lucky right now but its coming soon. They will be cutting pain meds out and I'm already up the creek.

It is difficult through pain clinics. I see my rheumatologist and their parameters are much wider than pain clinics. Just food for thought.

Re: Sandy (# 464) Expand Referenced Message

My sister died recently. She had a rheumatologist. She had a fractured hip and was given Tylenol. She had too many epidurals. It depends on doctors. Trump is going after doctors and CVS has just bought Aetna and they now only permit ten days of opiates and doctors are gathering together and saying opiates do not help pain at all. New patients are told they cannot get opiates. Older pain patients are also getting turned down.

We are all in jeopardy. The street drug fentanyl is the problem and alcoholism but they are all going after the wrong people. It is best to turn off the news.

I have very bad low back pain! I was rear ended 26 years ago. Broke tail bone, whiplash among other injuries. My low back pain is so very bad. I cannot do anything anymore. If l didn't have the Norco, l just couldn't get through the day. Need to legalize pot so all the ones abusing would have something to take. Can't overdose on pot!!! The mental and physical trama the pain takes on my body is terrible. Worrying about getting pain meds is so wrong. Why should l suffer because some one chose to take something they should've. Please help! As l write this, my low back is a 9 on a scale from 1 to 10. I took 2 , 10 mg Norco 70 min ago. Sometimes it helps and sometimes it doesn't. So tired of fighting the pain!!!!

The best I can do is recommend you get in touch with your Congressman and write about your individual dilemma. It is difficult and we are all facing an uncertain future. I pray every day that they don't do away with Norco. I have medical marijuana, and it does help, but not with 9/10 scale pain. Best of luck to everyone on this site.

Re: Sharon (# 468) Expand Referenced Message

My sister lives in another state. I have a family doctor that takes care of me so I am fortunate. I think keeping a regular PCP for a long time is a benefit. I just hope my physician does not retire early.

My sister did have a good rheumatologist in her state but he was on vacation when she needed him. Here they do not want to give new patients anything but drugs like Methotrexate. That was one drug that made me so sick and dizzy and it gave me heartburn. These types of drugs are more dangerous imho. Pain management doctors write prescriptions for them. I know there must be doctors that care but most people stay mum and do not say anything. I hope everyone finds a solution. I have been in their shoes quite a few times. That makes pain even worse.

Re: Jasmine (# 469) Expand Referenced Message

Thanks jasmine. Yes I actually don’t have any choice in the state of Delaware. They can’t give me the generic the fiorcet and I also take the generic for vicodin. My doctor can’t give me both so that’s why had to go to a pain clinic and they’ve tried to give me different things that I feel r stronger but I refuse them and just let them know the generic for vicodin works and I don’t want anything stronger. So they agree and give it to me. I can say as far as the generic for fiorcet (because they’ve stopped selling it from that manufacturer anyway and this may help a lot of people if they read it - I have got in touch with the manufacturer that works for me. The oblong white pill that has mia on one side and 110 on the other), these are the only pills that work for my headache/migraine‘s and they sent me a list in my area of where I could buy the prescription. They would make sure it would be at that particular more or less mom and pop drugstore the big chain stores box stores have too much overhead and go with the cheaper brands that don’t work. I pray everything goes well for you and if I can be of any help to anyone please just hit me up.

Re: Sandy (# 467) Expand Referenced Message

Hi Sandy. What I realized I had to do was become my own activist. It does no good to get in touch with anybody in politics. Find out the manufacturer of whatever medication you looking for and call them directly. I did that and now I know where I can get my generic for fiorcet. They were very quick to get back to me and asked me for zip codes in my area and then emailed me back where I would be able to pick up the brand that I needed, which for me is mikart brand, white oblong pill with mia on one side and 110 on the other side. If I can be of any more help please let me know.

I have never heard of Ameal. I looked it up and it says it is not a prescription?

One more thing I noticed doctors do not want to prescribe Tramadol any more. It is scheduled now too? I have not taken it but I have a friend who has taken it.

Re: RANDY (# 453) Expand Referenced Message

yes! i thought i was the only one who was experiencing this terrible, dull, middle-forehead headache, and all-day nausea, every day, with zero pain relief. zero. has anyone else experienced this with mallinckrodt m367? i was traveling out of town and took a chance in having my rx filled at a rite aid, thinking what could go wrong, pills are pills. wrong! my hometown pharmacy carries watson-brand and i've never had a problem with those. what has happened to mallinckrodt? i used to fill mallinckrodt back in 2014, and they never caused terrible side effects like what i am experiencing, now. within the last 3 years, someone has changed the formula and used us patrons as guinea pigs.

Re: sammie (# 474) Expand Referenced Message

I’m so sorry that you’re going through that. I myself use Mikart for my headaches/migraines. All stores stopped selling it, so I ended up going to the manufacturer directly to find out they sold that to another company. I got in touch with that company and they said they can find a pharmacy in my area that they can send it directly to. The problem is your big box stores like Rite Aid, CVS & Walgreens. I told my corporate what to do so it’s going to be a mom-and-pop store that you need to go to. I would ask the pharmacist the name and for the phone number of the manufacturer that works best for you. It honestly wasn’t as much trouble as I thought it would be. I hope this helps you.

Re: Don (# 1) Expand Referenced Message

The only difference I've noticed is the yellow football shaped tabs are more compact. They're harder. So they may dissolve slower and get obsorbed slower, making it seem to last longer. But I'm just guessing at that.

Don, it is not the compactness of the pill, it is the quality of the brand and the amount of medicine and fillers used. My pharmacist recommended Qualitest (the yellow pill) brand only as the others are of lesser quality.

Yes definitely. I noticed the quality of the generic medication from Osco has been drastically reduced. I switched to Walgreens for my pain medicine because I felt the same way you did.

What company makes Norco with blue speckles in them?

I was wondering if some of the m367 norcos come in a thinner size than others? I've never seen them thin and I have a concern about that.
