Gemer 1 Side Effect

Dear Doctor my mother is 64 and is diabetic previously she was taking Glutide CR 30 one tablet in the morning only and nothing during the day for the last 5years, recently the doctor changed the tablet to Gemer 1 this is effecting her in the morning when she take the tablet it makes her feels lathargic and as if slow down, only after 10minutes of taking breakfast she feels relaxed. kindly advice what to do.

It contains Metformin and Glimepiride and when is she taking it? If she's taking more than a few minutes before she eats, that may be what's causing the problem as it could be causing her blood sugar to drop to low. She should take it just before she starts to eat breakfast.
