does, any one knows what white pill with s 610 on it,what is it for????? maybe gas pill????? ## I can't find a listing for this in any of the U.S. prescription drug databases. And if it's an over the counter product, it may be very difficult to identify, because they don't have to log their imprints with the FDA. Most gas products, however, are gelcaps and not tablets, which usually contain Simethicone. It could possibly be an antacid: Was it found in the U.S.? ## Could be 019 (610 upside down)? If so, perhaps it's Actavis' alprazolam 25mg ODT. They're small and round. No "s" though.

Is Dextrol ever used to treat GERD? ## Yes, Dextrol is used to treat all kinds of digestion problems. I use it and it is very effective. My personal MD told me that his wife had taken the purple pill for 20 years when they found Dextrol. After two days she quit taking the former pill and is so much better. I like it because it is all natural. No drugs. It works. I have a hiatal hernia and several other digestive problems. I do recommend it. You just have to try it.

what are the side effects of taking Dida? ## Dida is an over the counter herbal supplement that is claimed, but not proven, to help with gastrointestinal problems. It contains oregano, olive leaves, potmarigold, thyme, cardamom, cloves, garlic, cinammon, fennel oil and peppermint oil. It should be used with caution, because some of the herbs it contains, such as the peppermint oil, oregano and cloves can actually further irritate some gastrointestinal problems, such as gastritis and gas. Side effects are not studied for these types of products, as is done for prescription medications. Is there anything else I can help with?

light blue capsule with the imprint TP on the top and 60 in the bottom. any clues? ## Kai, I think the imprint code is kind of hard to read, but it should say TAP 60 (where the TAP is kind of like a logo with the letter A coming off the T so I can see why you might have mistaken it as just TP - just so you know, the logo belongs to Takeda Pharmaceuticals). At any rate, the blue capsule which you are describing is Kapidex 60 mg, which is used "in the treatment and maintenance of patients with erosive oesophagitis and non-erosive gastro-oesophageal reflux disease" [1] You can read more about this drug at: Do you have any questions or information to add? I have had c-diff for 10 months now. I started on Flagyl, did a combo of Flagyl and Vanco, and spike treatments of Vanco at 125mg and 250mg. I recently heard that a Gastro doctor prescribes a drug called "Alinia" for his pediatric patients. I only heard the name, is this the right drug? If it is would I be a candidate for it? Do you combine it with Vanco? I heard it kills the spore, but I thought that wasn't possible. ## Alinia contains the active ingredient Nitazoxanide and it's only listed as being effect against Cryptosporidium and Giardia, so it's not used to treat Clostridium Difficile. pleas help to know about the pain i suffer on the left lower abdomen and centre of the abdomen also the pain in the abdomen while and after passing stools i am with severe constipation and some time i see blood in the stools what is this symptoms points out? ## There is really no way anyone is going to be able to give you a diagnosis from just the short information in a post in the Internet. There are far too many possible causes and it will require a doctors consultation and exam to pinpoint the cause. Blood in your stool could be caused by a stomach ulcer, hemorrhoids, Gastritis, or quite a few other options. The pain could be from an ulcer, Gastritis or just gas. Have you contacted your doctor?
