I am taking a tablet of Galvus-Met 50/500 and Metride 1. These are very costly medicines and I am looking for some cheaper combination. Mydiabetese Type II is monitored as follows
PP Blood 163.4
Fasting 96.63
Hb1AC 6.03
Pl advise. Will X-met be cheaper and equally effective.

No, the X-Met only contains the active ingredient Metformin.

But in the Glavusmet there is Vidagliptin and Metformin and in the Metride there is Glimepiride and Metformin, so the X-Met is not an equivalent medication.

Have you tried controlling your diabetes with diet and exercise, so you may eventually not require so many medications?
