Gabapentin is an anticonvulstant medication that has been proven effective at treating certain types of nerve pain. Methylcobalamin is a vitamin B12 supplement, often given to treat various types of neuropathy, since these conditions can be aggravated by a lack of this vital nutrient.

Side effects of this medication can include any of the following:
dizziness, ataxia, fatigue, tremors, nystagmus, diplopia, dysarthria, amnesia, UTI, paraesthesia, joints or muscles pain, g-i upset, purpura, decrease in white cells count, throat inflammation. Viral infection, penumonia, respiratory infection, middle ear infections, Back pain, oedema, dry mouth or throat, constipation, twitching, pruritus. Hostility, confusion, emotional ability, anxiety, depression, abnormal co-ordinatorn, vertigo, hypertension, breathlessness, incontinence, impotence, fever, asthenia, weight gain. Bronchitis, skin disorders. Suicidal ideation or behavior.

My wife 59 years old suffering from sciatica for last two months. On continue pain ,doctor given gabapentin and methylcobalamin twice a day. On first day she feel pain in stomach .whether it is side effect or it is someone another reason. She is also high blood pressure patient.
