Believe it or not, I just finished Xanax bars stored from 2012 subject to incredible desert heat & they were fine. It is said that the military supports most medicine up to 15 years past its expiration date

The typical shelf life for Alprazolam is 2-3 years. There should be an expiration date listed on your prescription bottle. If you can't find it, maybe there's a batch number or something else where one could ask the drug manufacturer what the expiration date is based on that information?

This tablet contains 2mgs of Alrazolam, the acitve ingredient in Xanax, it is a Benzodiazepine used to treat anxiety and nervous disorders. (NDC 59762-3722)

G 3722 tablet

Inactive Ingredients:

- Powdered Cellulose
- Starch, Corn
- Docusate Sodium
- Lactose
- Magnesium Stearate
- Silicon Dioxide
- Sodium Benzoate

Common side effects may include: nausea, drowsiness, headache and irritability.

The four lines are intended to make it easier to divide the tablet into separate doses.
