Mother of 3, I work, i pay for my insurance even though it is HIP, at least I work! Need to find a legitimate doctor who accepts bcbs through Healthy Indiana Plan as close to Bloomington as possible. And hopefully one who won't make me do N/A meetings, again, mother of three!, but I do attend counseling once a month. Can't afford to wait more than a few days and can't go more than twice a month, to the doctor, because I can't afford to make all these trips! I know nothing N Btown will, so, any suggestions would be much appreciated! God Bless Us ALL!

Did anyone get the phone number for Dr Kelly. Sure would appreciate it
And to answer your question about the pros and cons.... Pros....he does what you need him to do ....write a script but honestly if you're looking for a compassionate Dr that will LISTEN to you you're in the wrong place. He's not very good in that area. Visits are always less than 2 minutes and 2 minutes TOPS. I'm actually searching for a new doctor as I write this. So, overall...I would only recommend him if you're in dire need ....if you can afford to look around for another doc I'd suggest that.
I'm pretty sure that I replied to one of your previous threads but just in case not...here's the info again. From my experience.....he never made me show any proof of meeting or even really asked me about them besides my first appt., that was it. He accepts anthem hip. Allan Mackay....he's right in Bloomington. Hope this helps you.
Dr. McKay makes you go through a lot of IOP doesn't he? I have a doctor now that I like very much, however, he doesn't take my insurance, (also HIP 2.0 BCBS) for payments, only for prior authorization. I work a lot and am very busy with the children. I've heard good and bad things about this Dr. Does he make you do counseling more than once a month?
Allan Mackey. I actually recently lost my work, insurance who was bcbs. I have been paying cash for months and was recently granted hip ... Make sure that u are switched over to anthem bc by default when you're approved a lot of the time its defaulted to mhs. Anyway, I called my Dr. And they do accept hip it just has to be anthem hip. Hope this helps!
What is the first name of Dr Kelly? I can't seem to find him. Thanks for your help! Still searching, hanging n there!
Dr Kelly is a great dr for that. He used to be at Fairbanks but now has moved right by there and has a private practice now. He is by Community North.
No, thanks, i've been on Suboxone for 9 years, I know how habit forming it is, I'm looking for a legitimate doctor who will lower my dose every other month and slowly taper me until I am ready for the Vivitrol shot.
You can use the search engine at Suboxone.com to check for doctors in your area. Their contact information will also be included, so you can get in touch to see if they accept your insurance and what their requirements are for treatment.
This is a narcotic analgesic, so it has the potential to be habit forming and may cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, drowsiness, dry mouth and constipation.
Is there anything else I can help with?
