Folbic Tab Brenckrdg an oval pill pink with b384 on it . Will it help with memory ? also how long can you take this pill?

Hi Betty. The Folbic tablets contain Cyanocobalamin (Vitamin B12) 2 mg + Folic Acid 2.5 mg + Pyridoxine (Vitamin B6) 25 mg - in other words, they are a B vitamin supplement.

Vitamin B6 is thought to have a number of therapeutic benefits, including improved memory. "A double-blind, placebo controlled study found that memory improved in elderly men that supplemented with pyridoxine, according to the Linus Pauling Institute. However, more research is needed to determine if pyridoxine improves cognition in unimpaired individuals." [1]

With that said, you should be able to continue taking this supplement as long as your doctor continues to say it is okay because B-vitamins are an essential part of the diet and help with a variety of body functions.

My dr prescribed folic for non diabetic neuropathy. It doesn't help my feet. My dr stated, "neuropathy is difficult to treat." I am unable to take Lyrica. I have tried neurontin. It doesn't work either. I soak my feet in hot water every day. I tape my feet, as my dr showed me. That helps more than anything. I buy the best shoes on the market with arch support. I suffer every single day with this. I take 2 Tramadol 2x's a day just to barely tolerate the pain. I need to lose weight. I know when I'm at a healthier weight, my feet don't hurt so much. This pain rules my life. I need to ask my pain control dr to move up to a stronger pain medication.
