Florida Pharmaceys Not Filling C2 Presciptions (Top voted first)
UpdatedI live in north flight and have a sever pain problem and anxiety. My doctor is a family doctor and internal medicine for over 21 years. Since this last year my pharmacy of 7 years will not always fill my prescription the one I have the hardest time with is the 60 OXYCODONE HCL 30 MG. I have emailed the governor and told them about the problem. I recommended everyone to do the same. Because I can be public record and put pressure on the to make changes. But he responded by having his head man over all the pharmacys .he said it is up to the pharmacys if they won't to fill the prescription. But what he will not tell you they have put So much pressure on the they are scared to fill to many. The pharmacist is lying when they say we don't have them, are they are on backorder. It's all a lie. They don't won't to Loos their license because of new relations on them so we must tell them these new laws are hurting the sick. Please send the governor email and tell him how the laws and relations are hurting you and your health

Yes, it isn't the decision of the pharmacies or pharmacists that are causing these problems, but they aren't actually lying to you, when they say they can't fill it or it's on backorder.
The main thing that's causing the problem now is a regulation that's being enforced, which restricts how much they are allowed to order in and keep in stock each month. Regardless of how many customers they have that need prescriptions filled, once they are out for the month, there is nothing they can do.
Many pharmacies were ignoring this regulation and they actually got in trouble for it, they all received warnings late in 2012 and some were even fined.
An additional fact of importance is that this is not just something relevant to Florida, it is a law that's in effect for the entire U.S.

I'm sorry that you are suffering and having trouble getting your needed medication, but in this case, it is wrong to blame the pharmacies. These regulations have been enacted by the DEA and FDA.
Are there any other questions or comments?
Yea I sent a email to governor rick Scott and got a reply from the head man over all the pharmacys in Florida And he told me that it's up to the pharmacist if they think you need the medicine .But You are correct they put new laws and relations on the doctors & pharmacist to shut down the pill mills in south and central Florida. Now people that really need the medicine cannot get it. My doctor has been practicing medicine for over 21 years. I'm glad they shut down the pill mills. But we all need to let the governor know how it's hurting the sick
