Finding Evidence Of Roxicodone Abuse (Top voted first)

My friend read in her daughter's diary about taking blues. Now finding aluminum foil with magic marker lines on one side, burned marks on other side, soot on hands and inside car. Her daughter's friend said she heard she was smoking roxi's. Any info if her daughter might be abusing it?

I think it is pathetic how you (made in FL) can take that one situation, about your step duaghter, and blame it on the drug. Speaking from experience there are people that can function perfectly well and still smoke roxi's. Yes, it is not good for you but come on lets all face it we all have our issues. The problem isn't only the drug it could even be how she was brought up. She obviously has no self control. I personally smoke roxi's every day, but i work hard pay my bills and do not let my addiction get in front of my top priorities. Nothing in excess is good for you. And i am not telling everyone to jump on in and smoke roxi's too becuase its not okay. but maybe take a step back and think that the problem isnt the pills. If it wasn't pills it would probably be something else. And as for hating the dealers as well, we all have to make a living some how. I take such anamosity as being jealous beause the y do less work an probably make more more than you. it is so sad that people like you must catagorize people buy there way of relaxing at the end of the day or by how they make there money. I promise you are probably no better then the rest of us dealers and drug addicts. You also failed to mention wht you fix is.. we all have ours. Even our food is toxic to us these days. Quit stereotyping and re-evaluate the situation..Not all of us are piece of s**t people. Honestly the root of the situation probably goes deeper than just the pills drug addicts don't just pick up the drug and say hey i am gog to get addicted to this today. A good therapist may be able to sit down with her and bring out the root of the addiction..we almost all use drugs to numb our problems. Maybe you should have tried asking her why she smokes them or why she wants to get high instead of showing such negativity.

I to have lived it. I was an addict for 10 years. My story of addiction is also horribly sad, but fortunantly it turned out to be an extremly happy ending. I lost everything. My husband, my kids, my job& my home. I was staying places and doing things that i never could have possibly imagined. After i was clean for only 6 weeks my husband gave me 1 last chance. My whole life has changed. I got my family back. Im a stay at home mom and my marriage is stronger than ever. People really can change. Ive been sober for 13 months. I know i will succeed!

All people who responded to anything on this page need to take a real good look at your pathetic judgmental hypocritical self-righteous lives and try to figure out where you went wrong in your life and start right now to help better yourself... not one of you have a DAMN clue as to what you're talking about. I am a certified substance abuse rehabilitation counselor with my doctorate in pharmacology and chemistry.. needless to say I know what drugs do to your mind, your body, and your soul. I also can talk the talk because I have walked the walk ... I am a recovering addict ... my story is incredibly beautiful and horrificly sad.

You are entirely wrong. That is step by step how it is done and word for word the description of somone smoking "blues" "roxies" "Oxys" what have you. Trust me, and the smoking of these demon pills has taken 3 friends of mine from high school permanently and changed 100% of the lives of the people I know. Welcome to south Florida .

Suboxone gets you off of opiates with NO WITHDRAWALS. It is a great medicine and cured a personal roxicodone addiction. No one should fear withdrawals. Find a doctor in your area that supports the Suboxone program asap. Good Luck.

@ Missy - You say you smoke Roxi's everyday and that you do not have a problem? Wow!! It is not ok to smoke pills and that is total bulls**t that your addition does not get in your way and you pay your bills and so forth.. How much are you blowing on your habit? Had a pay raise lately? A promotion? NOT... You are so high and blinded by the high your on you do not even see how this drug is scrambling your brain. For your information Opiates are a false feel good high. It kills your endorphins (sp?) and will eventually leave you a very stupid person. Oh I see it has already done that... WAKE UP BEFORE ITS TO LATE

Im 17 years old and Ive been bad on Roxycodone twice now. I typically snort them and they ruin your life no matter how many times you tell yourself otherwise. Ive been to rehabilitation centers and stop while Im there but as soon as I get out Im out looking to get high again. I suggest you find your friends' loved one help because the longer your on them the harder it is to get off. Best wishes to you. I hope everything works out. Ive been sober 2 months now and graduating high school, there are ways to stop your addictions.

Yes she was deff smoking roxys I know for a fact. My ex was addicted. Very hard to stop. Worst withdrawls as well. It can actually kill someone if not handled properly. Good luck my prayers are with anyone with the addiction and their family members.

Klaw, ya' beat me to yelling at the suboxone spammer. No withdrawals is such a lie. No withdrawals if you don't ever plan on trying to get off the sub, sure I guess.

But, suboxone is a *narcotic* actually. More specifically, buprenorphine, the part of sub that's responsible for helping acute withdrawal, is a narcotic, albeit a partial agonist. That doesn't mean it's any less addicting though. Naloxone on the other hand is an opioid antagonist, which actually is more like an anti-narcotic. If you're already high, taking naloxone via IV, or in larger quantities by others roas, will put you into immediate acute withdrawal.

Don't even mess with suboxone. It can actually complicate a real cure, ibogaine. It's illegal in the US, as it has hallucinogenic properties, but it allegedly cures opiate addicts overnight. You've got a computer, obviously; google it.

If ur not a medical doctor than don't give people info because u don't know what ur talking about. BTW, opiates make u constipated because they make u dehydrated! It has nothing to do with ur muscles.

Whome you dont know what your talkin about just stop i myself have went down the blue road and for the girl thinking its just her thing and she can control it well you cant because you will always need more and guess whaTS next... HEROIN been thr now have fun with that. and for all the others that seem to think you can quit anytime your already hooked lol get a program now before you lose everything NA works trust me seems dumb at first but something clicks over time. good luck to all i hope this gets to help even one of you much love

Please remember that everyone living in trailer parks are not scum bag! It seems your daughter grew up in a home and is smoking that crap! The place in which you live has nothing to do with this problem!

wow there bud sounds like some one was high when writing this. Now i agree on some of the things you said i myself am a daily functioning oxy smoker and it does not last as cool as it sounds to have control of the addiction and i thought i did for the longest time bills paid so on and so forth but it does not last my friend opiate addiction is a little diff than having a cold one after work and trust me smoking blus has been my best friend since i was a teen but now at 24 and again i pay my bills work my ass off pay my car payments and rent yes it is possible but i can tell u that i am spiritually bankrupt this is not a substance to dabble with and i dont recommend anyone trying this the happiest ive ever been is when i put together 8mnths sobriety..functioning opiate addict lol ya but for how long ?
