Looking for a good pain Doctor that will prescribe Oxycodone. Its so hard working two jobs with no insurance, and trying to go to school as well to get my degree. I work for a moving company and install computers all day long. Always in pain Looking for A GOOD PAIN DOCTOR!!! WHO WILL PRESCRIBE OXYCODONE!! PLEASE HELP Preferably in the Northern Virginia AREA!!!

Dr Samad Oraee is a PM dr located in Lake Ridge, VA, but I do not think he will prescribe straight Oxycodone. Percocet, yes. He does take insurance. #703-492-7626. However, his NP just left his practice and found a new job, so it's currently just him now and he is usually very busy. So it could take some time to be seen. Warning: his bedside manner sucks and major pharmacies like CVS & Walgreens will not full his scripts, but most grocery stores will. If you were seeing a PM dr previously, I'd bring your records. If not, he'll probably order some MRIs. He'll try to do some spine inj., which I do not recommend. Hope that helps! I don't understand why it's so hard to find a PM dr in this area, who will prescribe opiates, for patients who truly need it! Good luck!

what I've seen from VA spine & pain center is long term - small dose - that usually doesn't help. Everyone is very paranoid because of the CDC guidelines sent out to Doctors everywhere and they would like to see the pharmacies stop carrying contolled substances. Long story, but i've been trying to find a doctor to help me just for a few months but they think I'm doctor shopping. Which I have to to find help. It not against the law to try and find help.

I'm looking for a pain management Dr that will help me with my meds for back pain I'm on 30 mg percocet 4 a day and 2 oxycotin 30 mg a day for longterm the problem is I have Medicare my Dr doesn't take it I'm paying 240 a month out of pocket anyone know a Dr that keep my meds the same and take medicare or Dr that close to same as out of pocket I pay now in the Maryland or Pennsylvania area please reply ty snappy416

To whom this may concern, I live in Waynesboro V.A. 22980. My name is Shon. Anyways i am a 43 year old male and i got disabled at 40 years old, now going on 4 years in 2017. It has been real hard and i am saddened, let down due to the long permanent chronic pain i suffer on a daily basis and problems i have financially Due to SSI disability money at a real low...I suffer from chronic left leg pain and right leg pain. My left leg is shattered and fractured my ankle and double compound fracture as well on my left leg fibula bone. I've also fractured my right leg ankle ..All operations on both legs and fractures where repaired using foreign devices and material like steal or ??? i was on dilaudid ..demerol..oxycodone 10s-and 5s for outpatient and inpatient therapy but once my casts where taken off and some physical therapy they just stopped giving them to me. They have tried nerve blockers ..muscle relaxers..aspirin..tylenol..ibuprofen..Naproxen..everything!! and nothing works ..as time goes on i get worse due to trying to be active. the cold hurts my legs alot because of nerve damage and arthritis settling. I finally got a new PCP in Virginia where i live now, moving from New Hampshire due to my mom being ill and disabled as well. But my New PCP wont and doesn't prescribe Narcotics for pain management. He actually made me feel real uncomfortable like im a drug seeker or a drug addict. Which i'm not! i even asked my new PCP to run blood work..U/A's to see that i have no drugs that im not prescribed and i said he can check me anytime he wants to. He argued with me and sent me home to take Tylenol or asprin which i informed him i take way too much of as it is and it dont work!!! he wont listen. No one will listen. im at my end it seems. im only 43 and i cant go hiking..camping.. fishing traveling..etc due to chronic pain!mi have No life now! i want to live more! do the stuff i enjoy doing again.. i miss it! it causes depression which i see a therapist on a every three month basis for treatment. that and meds help alot but it doesnt help me get out and be more active so its hardly a permanent fix! i need help by someone ..i need guidance as well! Someone who cares and will help me and understand my situation for narcotic / percocet treatment! its what only works! Im very upset with how strict they are with that type of treatment for people that fit the profile. It seems like when you mention pain they automatically think your a drug addict! its drug addicts that ruined it for those who are not and obey and follow the doctors and DEA federal laws for use of prescription drugs as i do. Anyways i dont think this will help me out, i just needed to vent!! thank you very much, sincerely shon........

I live in the hagerstown Maryland area and looking for a Dr that take over the pain management I c now and continue to prescribe me 120 of the 30 mg oxycodone and 168 Of the morphine every 28 days anyone know any drs close to the hagerstown Maryland area that help me and continue to prescribe what I'm presently getting

I agree ppl that don't need it can get it but ppl that do can't . I've lived in bed 11years only getting out to go to the dr . I have 3 incurable disease . The last one I got is worse than AIDS, Ms and cancer combined and my dr got shut down after me going there 9 years and I m dying already and young girls and more have taken there life over what I've been battling for years now . I'm dead already if I can't find a dr . My time ion earth is short as it is . Now over that dr and no help from any Drs I will die sooner . I'm scared to death I've been through hell just to keep Meds and had to go to several diff states . But I have no hope at all .

Hey, I go to AAA pain management in Frederick MD ...they just opened up a while back and are accepting new patients! If you have a MRI and a documented history of pain management they will see you. You can call (301) 732-4154. Ask for Gabriela and she can help you out.

Nikki, just moved to MD from CO where I was using an... unconventional means of dealing with pain from migraines so I don't have much recent medical history. I'm going to reach out to AAA in the morning, thank you for the recommendation.

I hope they are willing to work with someone starting from basically scratch.

I first posted on April 1st 2016, #141. I finally got into Bon Secours Portsmouth and things are starting to look up and improve. I hope the rest of you find comfort and someone willing to understand quicker than I did. Thanks for your posts and best of luck to all.
