Finding A Doc To Prescribe Oxycodone In Springfield Mo (Page 9) (Top voted first)

I have a very bad neck injury and I'm taking 4 x 10mg oxycodone a day for pain. I've moved to Springfield recently and all of the doctors offices tell me "Oh, our policy is never to prescribe narcotics." Even the hospitals won't prescribe it and have a family practice docs list and at the bottom of the page the disclaimer states none of the above doctors will prescribe narcotics. I need help anyone know a good doctor with in 200 miles of Springfield Mo. who will prescribe oxycodone?

I live south of warsaw and I am looking for a dr that services pain pump patients. I have a group that comes to my house to fill it, but I need a dr to write the orders and prescriptions for breakthrough pain. Any help would be appreciated. I am currently going to a dr in springfield looking for someone closer than 2 hrs.

Hi I'm going to be moving to Springfield mo from Syracuse ny in three weeks and need to find a good pain doc . I see that there is an issue here with prescribing narcotics . I've been in pain might over ten years . Can you recommend a good pain doc that will prescribe for me ?

Lisa, you might ask any doctor that you can get in to see about gabapentin, it's not a narcotic and it pretty much does it all, for a lot of people it helps with certain pain, it is also used to treat anxiety and insomnia, I was a true skeptic about it at first but when I started to take it I was shocked at how well it does work, it did have a few draw backs like for the non insomniac makes you very tired, and you get tolerant to it so have to take more same as narcotic drugs except you don't get totally dependent on it and it's widely prescribed, but I just took it for a few weeks then off for a few, but that was my regime.... But as a real med I would definitely recommend as a alternative

Dear sir, my daughter is 33 years old and has chronic pancreatitis and she is in constant pain. She has to be treated with narcotics. It is so hard to find a doctor that don't treat you like a drug addict. She was on the fentanyl patch but taken off to soon. I am scared for her life because of withdraws and the pain she still suffers. People on pain meds get treated pretty bad. We can not get into OHC until December. The emergency room will only treat her while in the hospital. If you know where we can get help, please let me know. Thanks!

To Mr. Help,

I've been going to a pain clinic in KS and moved to Springfield. Not one doctor will write my prescriptions so I'm having to drive 8 hrs each month to the old clinic. Please offer me any assistance you can provide, thank you.

I was just prescribed klonopine and gambenten. They work well i have a few to spare.
