Finding A Doc To Prescribe Oxycodone In Springfield Mo (Page 16) (Top voted first)

I have a very bad neck injury and I'm taking 4 x 10mg oxycodone a day for pain. I've moved to Springfield recently and all of the doctors offices tell me "Oh, our policy is never to prescribe narcotics." Even the hospitals won't prescribe it and have a family practice docs list and at the bottom of the page the disclaimer states none of the above doctors will prescribe narcotics. I need help anyone know a good doctor with in 200 miles of Springfield Mo. who will prescribe oxycodone?

My doctor of nearly 10 years had a stroke a couple of months back. The other doctors in his office will no longer help his patients that take pain medication. I'm happy to tell you my complete story if it would make you feel comfortable in sharing the doctor's information with me. I work 2 jobs and have permanent nerve damage and severe fibromyalgia. {edited for privacy}

Hi Mark,
I am very sorry to hear about your issues. I have a painful chronic illness & understand completely the struggle. I just moved to Springfield Mo & I went thru a bad adjustment time with new meds. One of the first meds they prescribed me was oxycodone.. I hated it :( made me very sick but meds work differently on different bodies. The good news I did find someone. I highly recommend Elite Pain Management on Primrose street. You will need your medical records of course. If I can provide any other info I will be happy to do so.

Also .. and of course I do not know your situation, but in Missouri the methadone clinics prescribe Dolophine ( the powerful pain reliever with few side effects) not just Roxane ( the liquid that modifies behavior). I am not a patient of a clinic nor have I ever been & while this is secondhand info it comes from a person I trust. I took Dolophine for 8 years it changed my life. Sadly in Mo I could not find a dr to prescribe it despite my extensive medical records, hence the prescriptions for oxy & other meds. I hope this helps you, I really do. How long did it take for him to prescribe the vicoden for you? Was it the 2nd or 3rd visit? I have nerve damage in my c4 and c5 vertebreas in my neck. Im im chronic severe pain daily. Just wondering?

Elite pain management told me they encourage patients to smoke cannabis. I don't want to smoke and feel high. I just want pain relief. They treated me awful.

People that really need help need names as well. A good dr can refuse a drug seeker with no pain causing issues.

I'm looking for a reputable doctor in or near Springfield, MO who can write a prescription for pain medications. My husband's previous doctor did him wrong. He has number one highly qualified certified medical issues - a rare brain surgery and severe sciatica. He is confined to a hospital bed at home with pain so bad.

I was reading your post and I would like to talk with you about the Dr you know. Would like info on medical doctor in Springfield area that treats everything from minor cuts and scrapes to painful scoliosis. Was given smallest dose of hydro for teeth and discovered it helped alleviate my chronic pain that I thought was normal.

If you are like me, I don't have INS however, there is a place in Gravette ark. Dr POE. he is about 100 bucks to see, take him your records and he will give you something. The 1st time I saw him he gave me 40 5 mg hydros- went back with my records and back to the OXY. I recently was admitted to a Joplin hospital for phenomena, the over seeing doc I had called him and said that he had NEVER seen someone on so much narcotics, never once asking me why. I was 1st prescribed the 10 mg 120 per month. After 3 years of this he bumped me to 20mg 150 per month. You will here in MO NADA. This just happened to me so I'm in incredible pain. I hope by helping you , someone will help me. Ohh on a sweet note- he will get you in within a few days to a week ...

haaaa..I feel like the tell all, but after I've been screwed so many times out of MONEY ( ohh god so much money ) treated like a junkie etc I will be the whistle blower ...GRAVETTE ARK. its about an hour maybe a bit longer depending how you drive S of Joplin. You will head to Anderson, pass Noel, keep going and you will feel like you are in no mans land..just keep going and you will pass the ARK state line which is ironically funny due to the liquor store there. In about 5 miles from that slow your roll ( major speed trap) and they will get ya...you will roll into Gravette. Continue through the likely one and only four way stop and about a mile ahead turn R at the sign that says hospital. its the clinic on the left. Okay- That's my spill ....now help a girl out. Where do I go now that the ER doc screwed me lol. mind you no INS thanks !
