I am going back to school in two days and am in desperate need of something to help me focus. Because of this problem, I ended up dropping out of this school a few years ago. Also I have major anxiety. I worry about everything, no matter how minuscule, have trouble sleeping because my mind is always racing. When I get super upset, I hyperventilate and feel like I can't breathe.

Milwaukee renew counselling 414-383-4455. 1225 west Mitchell. They drop you every month to make sure your taking it. I don't like them personally but I was a patient for three years. They just take on too many patients at a time.

Psychiatrist spend thirty minutes with you the first appointment every appointment after is less than 15. A psychotherapist is talk therapy and don't not have the ability to write script

Dr. Karl jones. In stpete, he doesn't prescribe both to me, but i was behind someone reading out loud her scripts and had both. Im going to try bc ive noticed the adderall really helped me. I think ive been misdiagnosed my whole life pretty much.

I have been prescribed adderall and xanax for almost 5 years, and i am just fine. I am not a "drug seeker". I haven't asked my doctor to increase my doses on either in 4 years. I have terrible anxiety and can get suicidal, and was like this before I took adderall. The adderall just helps me want to do things and not lay in bed all day, and I take the xanax so I can sleep some nights when i can't and for when I have panic attacks. I try not to take the xanax too much because i know that if i were to suddenly stop i could have gran mal seizures (anyone can). But some people genuinely need both prescriptions because of various reasons, but they need to be diagnosed with such disorders first. What happened to me though, is my doctor in seminole county Florida dropped me and refused to say why, they also dropped my mother, who isn't on anything like the medications i am. She's taking tramadol for her hip because she recently had her hip replaced, and the doctor dropped her, too, again, for no reason. I am actually looking for a new doctor as well, but no doctors around here are accepting new patients, prescribing or filling adderall scripts. I'm at a loss here, because I genuinely need these medications. I don't really expect anyone on this site to help me find a new doctor, considering the replies other people have gotten, and I expect more criticism than help, which is sad, from this site or thread. I'm just simply saying that being an a**hole and saying someone sounds like an addict from some words they type, and making screwed up assumptions about a person they cannot hear or see. How do you think it'd feel asking for help and all someone did was criticize you and try to make you feel like you don't deserve the help you're seeking?

However, without knowing your general location, it's difficult for anyone to try to make any recommendations for a doctor that may help.

Can you please post back and give us a general idea of where you are, such as the nearest large city?

I have never been officially diagnosed with ADHD, but it runs in my family (both parents, brother, several cousins). I am trying to find a doctor in Gainesville, FL that can diagnose it, if I have it and who prescribes adderral.

I live in Fairfield, tx. I have severe panic attacks and have been taking xanax for years. My problem is I have severe ADHD. I live between Dallas and Houston. I need to know a Dr whom prescribes both, does anyone know one?

i have had over 20 surgeries and was on alot of pain meds. I saw dr pasi pain mngment in raleigh nc and she said marijuana came up in my urine. Ive never done marijuana but my roommate does. I also have been taking xanax 2mg 3 times a day for 17 years. i dont know what to do because now my primary whi is great here in raleigh thinks i lied to him about the marijuana but i dont use it. now i need help in finding a psychiatrist who isnt afraid of prescribing XANAX along with the 15mg of methadone i take daily.

I am in the Ohio valley on the border of weirton w.v and Steubenville Ohio and I am having trouble finding a dr to help me with my anxiety issues everything I've tries hasn't worked such as buspirone, or celexa, depakote anyone have any suggestions on a psych dr in my area that will put me back on my original meds that worked that were benzos.

I have been taking a very low dose of Xanax for about 30 years (0.5 mg, twice per day). I have never increased the dose. In fact, I have decreased it over the yars.

Xanax was prescribed for panic attacks. The drug allowed me to get my life back after debilitating panic attacks. I live in the Atlanta area. I cannot find a doctor willing to manage this drug. They all seem to want to change something that has been working well for decades.

Does anyone have any suggestions? I do not wish to go to a psychiatrist. I have no need of or desire for talk therapy.
