I am going back to school in two days and am in desperate need of something to help me focus. Because of this problem, I ended up dropping out of this school a few years ago. Also I have major anxiety. I worry about everything, no matter how minuscule, have trouble sleeping because my mind is always racing. When I get super upset, I hyperventilate and feel like I can't breathe.

I have been taking a very low dose of Xanax for about 30 years (0.5 mg, twice per day). I have never increased the dose. In fact, I have decreased it over the yars.

Xanax was prescribed for panic attacks. The drug allowed me to get my life back after debilitating panic attacks. I live in the Atlanta area. I cannot find a doctor willing to manage this drug. They all seem to want to change something that has been working well for decades.

Does anyone have any suggestions? I do not wish to go to a psychiatrist. I have no need of or desire for talk therapy.

I found a great place in Chicago, IL to prescribe Adderall, Xanax, etc. You see a real doctor, you do get some counseling, on-line appointments or walk-in, and overall the experience is excellent. Xanax is a terrible drug. It wears off so quickly you just need more and more. I kept asking doctors to give me something else but they all said no. Xanax is terrible. I got highly addicted and it was horrible getting off of it. Now over a year later I feel so much better WITHOUT Xanax

VixenAnn only needs adderall xanax and oxycontin/dilaudid and is taking new patients now. I'm sure any Doctor will hook her up???

I am searching for a doctor to prescribe me adderral. Ive been on them for years,my dr recently retired and the new ones in charge are doing everything completely different. I dnt have time to waste w them,i work 2 jobs and not having them has my daily performance ,well not good.

I am in the Ohio valley on the border of weirton w.v and Steubenville Ohio and I am having trouble finding a dr to help me with my anxiety issues everything I've tries hasn't worked such as buspirone, or celexa, depakote anyone have any suggestions on a psych dr in my area that will put me back on my original meds that worked that were benzos.

i have had over 20 surgeries and was on alot of pain meds. I saw dr pasi pain mngment in raleigh nc and she said marijuana came up in my urine. Ive never done marijuana but my roommate does. I also have been taking xanax 2mg 3 times a day for 17 years. i dont know what to do because now my primary whi is great here in raleigh thinks i lied to him about the marijuana but i dont use it. now i need help in finding a psychiatrist who isnt afraid of prescribing XANAX along with the 15mg of methadone i take daily.

I am looking for a physician in northern new york state who can prescribe xanax along with adderol for my adhd. I also take lyrica for my fibromyalgia. Now is there anyway whatsoever you can help me locate a doctor other than dr asar in potsdam ny that can help me.I suffer trememndously.

I think Verwon owns or manages this forum. I find his or her earlier advice from about 10 years ago to be helpful. if you try to ask it a question you will get no response, although a few of my posts have been deleted for asking. I like what you say about the two medicines although the last Doctor that told me what you wrote about Xanax was 25 years ago and I have been on them ever since. I think they are Poison but if you stop Xanax without a proper withdrawal program you can stroke out or die and it hurts. I could have written a book when it happened to me as each day was a different experience, like a ride at Six Flags!

Folks who troll these type of rooms looking for drugs is rather bizarre. Folks who read this please take some advice from a long term chronic pain patient.
1. P.A.I.N. = Patient/Physician , Awareness, In, Narcotics.
Nobody should be taking XANAX for more than 3 days in a row. period it is a short term anxiety med. Adderall which I have no idea how to spell it, is nothing more than SPEED. Nobody should be taking that drug. Mixing the 2 meds is only for drug abuse folks. Please seek help because the 2 combine is only for a high nothing more. Go out and enjoy life because you do not have much time. God Bless.

My California "Pain" Doctor who specialized in Narcotics moved to Florida, established a practice where he prescribed lots of Adderall in Naples, started writing fake prescriptions and was arrested. I have shown the picture to everyone who knew him as I wish nothing but bad things for that Latin slime ball. Dr. Adolpho Soto, look him up!
