There is really no way to know what any doctor may prescribe to treat pain, or an injury.

You may also run into a problem if you go to a new doctor and are asking for a specific medication, because many doctors consider that to be drug seeking behavior.

The best thing you can do is make sure they have all of your medical records, so they can see what has and hasn't worked for you in the past and they can base their decision on that.
