I have fibromyalgia and neurofibromatosis. I am taking Oxycodone and Neurontin. Any suggestions for something else?

Are these medications working for you? If so, then there is no need to switch, as long as your doctor approves of you taking them.
The FDA warns that Oxycodone carries the risk of being habit forming, and may cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, headache, constipation, and dry mouth.
As to the Neurontin, it does not cause the side effect that Tina mentioned in everyone that takes it, We are all different, and there is no way of knowing how any given medication will affect anyone that tries it.
The Voltaren gel is excellent, I've been using it for arthritis pain for several months, now, and it helps a lot. Since it's topical, the Diclofenac in it doesn't cause the stomach irritation that most NSAIDs are known to cause, according to FDA reports.
the biggest problem with neurontin is sometimes you will feel AND LOOK like you are drunk. also, they are in the process of changing the class. i believe it will b the same class as your oxycodone. i was put on lyrica some years ago and did not react well to it...i was a blubbering dumb mess. i cried all the time and was dumb as a box of rocks...a 5 yr old was smarter than me. i was diagnosed in 2005 for fibromyalgia, osteo-arthritis, failed lower back surgery and restless leg syndrome. i have been on oxycodone, oxymorphone, elavil (for nerve endings), requip (restless leg), zanaflex (occasional nauseau from oxymorphone), voltaren gel (also contains anti inflammatory for long term effect) which is great for pain and inflammation on joints, upper leg muscles and lower back (it doesnt smell like bengay). believe me this has been years of trial and error and i did NOT have the ability to talk to others about fibro. it took around 6-8 years for me to find people and forums who knew about/had been diagnosed with fibro. i have been very blessed to have an awesome dr in my area who i have been seeing since around 2005/06 who was/is extremely knowledgeable/educated on fibro and continues to stay updated on all current info
