I took a hair follicle test and it came up positive for cocaine. I have never used drugs in my life. I have a kidney infection and I have been having trouble with my kidney all my life on and off. I was taking Ampicillin 500mg and Metronidazole 500 mg and Eugenol. I am going to court concerning my kids and I can't lose them for drugs when I never took them before. Please help me. Thank you.

I just did a urine test to screen for drugs but it came up positive for cocaine. I don't do that. I take seroquel 50 mgs a day. Is it possible that this medication would give me a false positive result? My kids depend on this. I'm going to loose them with a positive result. I don't do drugs.

I am a chronic pain patient. I was in a severe accident in Atlanta Georgia, where I was treated at Grady. I was given dilaudid and percocet in the hospital. I take percocet regularly and never tested positive for cocaine. Could it have been the dilaudid that I was given in the ER? It was the only different drug I had been taking with my other prescription. I'm devastated and being treated differently because my family, friends and Dr. think I use cocaine...wow.

I just got a urine test back that was positive for cocaine, but I haven't taken any in almost 3 years. This is the 2nd time within 3 months and i take a drug test once a week at least. All others have been negative. The 1st time I did a gcms and it still came up positive, so i went for a hair test which was negative. I take 2 antidepressants and that's it. Now I'm waiting...

I got a false positive for cocaine on a drug test at work. The ONLY thing I can think of is I had gotten a tattoo a few days earlier. I don't know the exact numbing agent they used - I'm trying to find out. From my research it's one of these 3: lidocaine, tetracaine, benzocaine. If these are pricked in literally hundreds of times, could it give a false positive? I'm considering a hair follicle test, but can those differentiate between cocaine and those other things?

I'm about to get kicked out of the treatment program I'm in because of a positive urine test for cocaine. I have Hep C and gallbladder problems. I have not used any cocaine but yet still I get positive tests.

I just had a baby and tested positive for cocaine on a saliva drug screen and also do not use. I don't understand at all and even had 3 more tests and they also say positive. I don't know where to even start to figure this out. All I've taken is ibuprofen, aleve, advil and delsym cough syrup. I need help. I do have kidney problems and also liver problems but Idk again how to prove my innocence? I have hep c and hpv syndrome. I also have antibodies in my blood and wonder if this can cause the drug to take longer to break down?

I am a 57 year old female. Last july I got c-diff. I was a very strong healthy woman, but it tore me down big time. I've been in the hospital 4 more times. 3 times on the cardiac unit and I just got out again for c-diff. I'm coming back but we caught it before it got bad. I fell the 1st of may and deviated my septum. My sinuses were so infected and had migraine headaches so he put me on amoxicillin antibiotics. The next month I went in to get surgery and there was so much infection he scraped my sinuses and wasn't comfortable doing the surgery because the infection was so bad. So more antibiotics were given. That's what caused the c-diff to come back. They put me on metronidazole 500 mg and before that amoxicillin. I'm on probation for driving on a suspended license and the day after my surgery went for drug assessment and tested positive for cocaine. I live with my 84 year old mother fighting extremely high blood pressure. I'm not being violated for their mistake. I told them I took a xanax because my head was hurting so bad and it didn't even show up. I'm going to my surgeon, primary care, and pharmacy and getting all the information I can on false readings and I came across this site. You know the good lord is blessing you for helping people that have no one else to turn to, you know the ones out there. Science is never wrong or guilty!!! Thank you for caring and listening. You're giving hope to those that are very afraid and innocent. I know that because I am. Thank you.

Beth I'm lola I'm doin all I can to find out about this false witch hunt I have hep c too We have to take control and stand up for the truth I know your scared and I am too but the truth shall set you free.Start out by talking to your Doctor, your pharmacist be honest go to other pharmacist and get their opinions get people that know you to write letters on your behalf of your reputation if you sit back scared there gonna think your guilty blow it up document everything what have you got to lose.I'll keep you updated

I'm currently taking Wellbutrin XL and Buspirone Hydrochloride. Recently I consumed marijuana and also got drunk. The next day, when I went home, I took a lot of PM Pain Relief medicine and Hydroxyzine Hydrochloride. I went to the ER that night and had to give a urine sample. When I talked to a doctor that I was seeing, he told me that I tested positive for cocaine and I've never done it before. It wasn't laced in the marijuana because all of the people I was with got tested too and they didn't have cocaine in their system and they were smoking the same thing. I just want to know if it's possible that the medicine I'm on caused a false positive test result. I don't think that there's any way that I could've had it in my system if none of them did and we all did the exact same things.

I don't smoke and never ever could. I did not pass a drug test and lost my job behind this, but I'm gonna prove them wrong. I have no clue why it would be testing positive for cocaine and can't even tell you how it looks besides what I see on tv. I need answers!!!
