Hi my name is rosie, and I have been on neurontin/gabapentin goin on 2mnths now for my nerve pain n my legs from my diabetes,well ne way I've takin 2 urine test and dey com up positive, I dnt take ne other meds bsides wat my doctor prescribe 4 my diabetes. I take gabapentin 300 mg 1 cap e'er 12 hrs.

I've been testing positive for neurontin and I haven't taken any !!! I do take multi vitamin , ibuprofen 800 2xs a day,lexapro in a.m., lamotrigin 20 mg am & pm, propranol 10mg 3xs a day, hydrozyne 100 mg pm, lisinopril 20 mg am, doxepin 50mg pm, & pantoprazole 20 mg pm. I'm in rehab and it's very serious problem.. I need an explanation

I also take gabapentin 600 three times a day as well as 50 diclofenac three times a day and my mouth swab test came back positive as well

if you are taking any cold medications with pseudo ephedrine,i was told by my pharmacist that it will show up as positive for opiate use.I asked him because i'm taking Gabapentin and pseudo ephedrine and being random drug tested for opiate use

Over the counter drugs . Geritol-fastin diet pill-ibuprofen800 mg----prescriptions---lasix--seroquel--aldactone--elavil--flexeril--zanaflex--requip--effexor xr---metformin hcl--prilosec---naproxen---crestor---reglan---zantac---klompin---coreg.---insulin---humulin R--- will any of these cause barbiturates to show in urine test?

If i take gabapentin 2 days ago and I take urine test will it show up If they send it to the lab? How long does it take for it to be completely out of your system?

I have taken gabapentin for 9 yrs and u need 2 give it about 3 mos and decide then it it helps. It has 2 build up in your system 2 achieve max relief

hi i am mandy and i been taking gabapentin , what i am trying to find out has it been helpful for your nerve pain in your legs i too am a diabetic and is taking the medicine for leg pain ,but my legs still hurt and i have gain weight , i have been taking it for six weeks and is about to stop , because it is not helping ,what i am trying to find out is the medicine causing me to gain weight

A friend of mine failed a drug test for methadone, she swears she has never taken that but she is on neurontin. Will the neurontin cause this test to come out positive or did she really take methadone? Also, is there anything else that a methadone drug test would come out positive for besides methadone?

What are you getting a false positive for?

Gabapentin isn't known to cause false positives.

Can you please post back with more information on what else you are taking, including any over the counter products? There are some of them that are known to cause false positives and with more details, I can check them for you.
