Fake Orlistat Capsules (Page 5) (Top voted first)

Hello Everyone Just wanted to let you all know that you need to be aware of fake Orlistat pills being offered for sale as generics to Alli. I bought what I thought were generic Alli 120mg but was sent blue capsules filled with a white powder instead. I know for a fact that the active ingrediant in Alli (Orlistat), is actually small white bead-type drug. So, what is this powder? Only God knows! I've written my letter of complaint to the on-line pharmacy concerned, but no reply. I will see about getting my money back.

Kay, Thanks so much. This time of year is toughest.. As he would have been turning 16 this Monday 9/15/2014. Miss him everyday. You are so sweet to say that to me. And YES... WE ALL NEED TO STOP THESE SHADDY COMPANIES. So sad they are allowed to keep getting away with this?? Best of luck and HEALTH to all of us ????

I got the same thing and they're definitely fake. I returned them but havn't been reimbursed yet. It 's a scam! I have taken Alli for years and they definitely don't work. I'm not sure what to do.

So are you saying voicore orlistat is not fake - I just started using them and I know the side effects - I hope I have not been scammed.

You always reply to me so well. No one seems to understand the PAIN unless they are going thru it! I had 2 hip replacements, back issues & on disability for severe occ. neuralgia headaches, panic attacks, & anxiety! God, I am a mess! I have been on Watsons 10/325 for years with NO side affects & took most sometimes ALL of the pain. Since ended up in er with the activas (PLEASE~NO ONE TAKE ACTIVAS ANYTHING!!!) I have called them numerous times, made reports~they JUST DON'T CARE! Now the crappy vicodin puts me asleep 7& I can hardly do my small phone job. Do you think if I try that endocet by I think Qualitest next month that will be the best thing to do??? It is that small yellow pill. I so far have not had problems with pill color dyes. Again, I'm so sorry about your SON, & I really believe we will be with our loved ones again, & that he IS always with you. Pain in Chicago. Where are you from (unless you don't care to say...it's OK!)

sorry to hear so much is going on with you. I honestly don't know about any pain pills except for Percocet and minor pain pills like that. I have my share of severe broken ribs with rheumatoid arthritis and I have so many bowel issues that days go when I can't bend at waist, I literally put on 3-5 lbs water and poop in one day, severe bloat bleeding gastritis and ulcers so can't take pain for my arthritis and broken ribs. Live on arthritis Tylenol so much so it could kill a horse and recently am taking so much colon cleanse ( all natural) but nit working well and afraid now my body is addicted to these damn pills go ing up everyday, still. Waiting to find proper doctors with all my thyroid issues. I was once a very active women doing kickboxing, weights, etc... To now going on 2 years of not being able to even drive, I feel like am just existing and not living anymore. I use to take alli to help cholesterol contol vmcus up there but not enough for meds abs to high to go without doing something and diet as well as exercise wasn't an option anymore for me since getting sick. Omg... I have so much going on with me I have SEVERAL DOCS Stumped and going on second opinions now. I live close to Boston, Ma and suppose to be the best NOT.. my son died here in SUPPOSEDLY THE BEST Hospital here. Anyways.. As u can see have trouble trusting and with good reason. My life has changed so much. I am miserable I need answers and my health and life back. Anyway.... Yes I am very sorry and I told you I am here for you. Its always nice to know someone is here and does care (( Hugs)) hope you get relief soon too. It sucks!!! Hate to use the fake alli forum to chat though... Wish I could het your email but honestly hard to do in public.. Don't want ANYBODY EMAILING YOU Take care hun... I know VERY WELL YOUR PAIN. XO

I contacted GSK myself and was told all in will be back but there is no set date. The estimate for return is early 2015.

I am just finishing a course of the Viocore orlistat and they have seemed fine to me. I got the same oily or fatty stools as I used to with Alli. When I went to Google to buy more I found this thread and have broken some of the last capsules open to see and they don't look anything like cornstarch to me. I can't vouch for anyone else's experience but these capsules have been fine so far. Alex

I hate to see you on all that damn tylenol as that will rip up your sromach in no time! Did you have the upper endoscopy done? I have to watch my coffee & acidity & take Protonix in the morning & Zanac at night & that really helped my stomach, I once lived in Petoskey, Michigan (don't EVER live there if you have cronic pain!!!) All they kept giving me was Motrin, Tramadol $ shots at ER when it got SO bad I had to be wheeled in & was shaking with pain!I moved from there & went to a suburb of Detroit & got 10/325 Percoset by WATSON with no problem, & they couldn't ubderstand WHT I wasn;t still getting that as I was in Minnesota for the last 8 yrs, but Petosket didn't care...they just didn't care. I thought if you could hace that procedure done, the Doc, could maybe give you something to keep the acidity down ect,You have been thru alot too,,,omg. Starting to get tired!!! Good Luck To YOu

I did get oily stools from this med and some discomfort in my stomach. I however didn't have any issue with bloating.

I ordered from the same from the same company before I read the thread. I wasn't going to use the meds and decided to a couple days ago. I did get side affect of some discomfort in my stomach and oily stools. This med does work.

Hi I just bought a generic orlistat called Orlislim through a canadian pharmacy called Healthcare tablets. the product is from Asia. I just started taking it a day ago - so may not see results right away. I actually broke one of the capsules and found it had a powdery substance - so not sure if I have been ripped off yet. Was wondering if anyone in this forum has had experience or has heard of Orlislim - i believe they are made by Zenlabs. Any insight would be appreciated.

Botanics asia did same thing. To me. Absolutely fake! They wrote me back, sayimg pills real orlistat, not to worry.
Live and learn, at least didn't kill me!

I am afraid to take the fake orlistat ....not knowing what the white powder is....fyi...the real orlistat Alli...was voluntarily taken off the shelves due to product tampering...should be back in stores March/April..... can't wait
