Hi jack,

In my honest opinion, the best way to normalize triglyceride levels/reduce cholesterol is stay on top of your diet. A couple "fruit-only or veggie-only" meals throughout the day would probably have a very significant impact on normalizing pretty much everything; from enzymes, vitamins and minerals, cholesterol, excess fat, any acidity from the alcohol, etc.

As you can probably tell, I'm not a big advocate of using prescription drugs, since there are so many natural options in the produce isle of every grocery store. Although, one supplement that's regarded for it's cholesterol lowering effects are Hemp Seeds. They sell them in bulk at Whole Foods and online I believe for reasonable prices in comparison to some of the prescription drug costs.

That's probably the most I can suggest right now; if you're even interested in trying a few of those options. I just wanted to get word out that the right eating habits can pretty much get people back on track in very little time and without the side effects.

I hope this helps!
