Est Estrogenmtest Manufacturer (Top voted first)
UpdatedDoes anyone have info as to why this is no longer available from the manufacturer? I've been taking it with great success for the past year. All of a sudden no one has it and I'm being told its a manufacturer problem. It's the IP 78 light green pill. The pharmacy is no help.

Hi Paula,
From what I can gather, the medication has actually been discontinued by the manufacturer, so your pharmacy has no way to fill a prescription for it. The best advice I can offer is to speak with your doctor about finding an alternative. I understand how frustrating this must be for you.
Please share with the community if you find an alternative that works!
Hi Paula,
You're welcome. Hopefully your doctor and the pharmacy can work something out. Hormones can definitely be a pain to deal with. May I ask what you used the Est Estrogenmtest for? If you are comfortable with letting me know, I can definitely research some possible natural alternatives.
Hi Jenna,
I'm post menopausal, and have dealt with mood swings, low energy, and loss of bone density. The last one in particular is why my doc prescribed it. No problems til I couldn't get it. Open to alternatives for certain.
Thanks a bunch.
Hi Paula,
Thank you for your reply. Down below are a couple links to some articles that may benefit the issues that you're dealing with. If I can personally recommend anything to help increase your energy levels, it would be to eat/juice as many fresh fruits and vegetables as possible. In addition to that, I would make a point to drinking plenty of water with fresh squeezed lemon. When I'm feeling bogged down, those are the two remedies I run to first and it really helps! The supplement ginseng is also great for mental clarity. :)
Here's an article that gives info about how you can manage mood swings naturally: lifescript.com/health/conditions/womens-health/pms/how_to_manage_mood_swings_naturally.aspx
Here's an article that talks about how to increase bone mass: livestrong.com/article/193544-how-to-gain-bone-mass/
Livestrong.com also provided this information in one of their articles on how to increase bone density:
"Try Alternative Therapies. According to AWARE, several natural treatments such as massage, acupuncture, visualization and magnets might help to stimulate weak electrical charges and promote bone growth. These natural therapies rarely have negative side effects. However, select qualified professionals who are certified by a professional board."
I really hope you enjoy these articles, I'm always here to help if you need any more assistance!
Hi, I went to Wahlmart today and I got a refill for est estrg/mtest 1.25-2.5 mg tab amn. Light green pill. No problem getting it you also can get it in Target. Let me know if you have question. Thanks
I was given the dark green EEMT 1490 pill which replaced the turquoise caplet. I have a reaction to the inert ingredients of the new pill. Tongue red inflamed painful with petechiae and clear blisters. It started the day I took the first pill and after 5 days became unbearable until I got a steroid injection. Have you heard of anyone else experiencing problems with the new pill?
Same situation! I thought it may have just been my mind thinking I was conditioned to the light green, however last four months have been unsuccessful with emotional ups and downs.
Trying to find out who manufactures estrogenmtest tablets? Looking for coupons to help with the cost of it. Very costly for me and I'm on social security which is not covered at all on my insurance.
Thanks for the info. My doc and z local compound pharmacy are working to come up with a topical alternative. I found another supplier, but that particular one made me nauseous. The joys of hormones! I'm open to any natural alternatives if they would work.
I have taken this for years and also had the problem of the Navy pharmacy no longer carrying it. I did find it at CVS, Giant, and Walgreens. I went with CVS to be covered by insurance but when I picked it up it is now dark green with the number 1490 on it. The label now says ESTROGEN-METHYLTESTOSTERONE TB and the exact dosage of each ingredient is not listed as it was on the other. It seems to work the same. The Navy pharmacy said the manufacturer was reformulating probably to keep from reducing the price???
