Escitalopram And Cheratussin Ac

I have a horrible cough and found some Cheratussin AC cough syrup in the cupboard... I took two tsps and then remembered that I am now on Escitalopram... Will I have any problems combining the two?

According to the University of Maryland Medical Center (umm.edu / drug interaction tool), there are no interactions listed between Cheratussin AC and Escitalopram.

This does not necessarily mean that no interactions exist, however, I have no reason to believe that the combination is unsafe based on my own investigation.

Nevertheless, it's always a good idea to consult your prescribing doctor with any doubts or concerns before moving forward.

Hi ...my doctor which I dnt really trust but me on Escitaloprom 10mg in the morning and zopax 0.25 at night for anxiety and depession I took only Escitaloprom and I felt like I was going crazy Nd my whole body was burning had a lot of confusion nausea could not sleep I was scared to take it again this morning please tell me if I can take at bed time together with zopax please help
