Epitec Query

Hi I am on Epitec 200mg I wake up feeing nauseous and gained weight. I have a rash which is persistent.Please advise.My other medication includes rivertrol Cyprimil renetec and Alcera I have been on Epitec for the past two months should I continue or get weaned off the Epitec

Have you been experiencing these side effects ever since you started taking Epitec or did they begin with Rivertrol, Cyprimil, Renetec, and Alcera?

From what I could gather, the active ingredient found in Epitec (Lamotrigine), can cause a hypersensitivity reaction primarily occurring as a rash.

I would personally suggest weening off of the Epitec, if the rash doesn't go away. Is your doctor aware of the side effects you've been coping with?
