what are the long term effect when taking this pil. my brother has taken this pill fir more than 6yrs now n i am concern.

Epirvir HB contains the active ingredient Lamivudine, it is used to treat Hepatitis B and HIV.

Whichever condition he is using it for, the risk to his health would be far greater if he let it rage out of control, than if he uses the proper medication.

I am not saying that long-term use of a medication may not have some repercussions, but it's just like when someone has high blood pressure, they usually have to use some medication for the rest of their lives, or they risk serious complications and death from that condition.

Both HIV and Hepatitis are very risky and serious medical conditions to suffer from.
