Effects Of Citalopram

I've been taking citalopram for just over a week and I've got the shakes and my walking has gotten slower. Also, I tend to forget things. I am feeling washed out and tired. I'm not bothering with my appearance as I can't be bothered to even cook myself a hot meal. I'd rather live on crisps and snacks. Is this normal or does it get better with time?

No, this is NOT normal. It sounds like you are having a bad reaction to the medication and you should contact your doctor immediately to inform them.

They will want to rule out other causes and if it is the medication, you may need to try something else.
