Hi, I had unprotected sex with my boyfriend. I went to my OB last week and she told me that I was ovulating. And then my boyfriend accidentally ejaculated inside of me. After 20hrs I took the first 4 pills, and took the next 4 an hour late (because I fell asleep). Help me please? Is there a possibility I could get pregnant? Please, I'm really scared.

Hi. My period started on april 15th and ended april 18th. My cycle is 28 days. My bf and i had unprotected sex on the 29th of april. We did the withdrawal method but i was paranoid of getting pregnant so i took nordette as an ECP the next day at around 11am for the 1st dose and another 4 after 12hrs. But we had sex again on may 5th. At 1st we used a condom and withdrawal method, then after 30 min we had unprotected sex again. He didn't urinate after our first sex so I'm sure there is still sperm in his urethra. Am i at high risk of getting pregnant? It's already 8 days after i took nordette and i still don't have my wb. I only have white milky discharge. What should i do? Help me pls.

@cloie nice to know. I observed that anxiety is common here and it is to be expected because this thread is about emergency contraception. But as ive said again and again, responsibility is within us and starts within us too. Stay positive always, i mean our minds.

@cloie its ok to consult your ob for peace of mind. Just tell her the history of your intake and also, shell check on your history too for other causes like hormonal imbalance if theres any.

Hi @calendargirl it's me again, K. I used trust pills because i couldn't find nordette anywhere. Anyway it's been a month and i got my bleeding 5 days after taking the pills. Just waiting for my menstruation to come. What do you think of my chances being pregnant right now? We had unprotected sex twice in 72 hours after my menstruation ended last month and i took the pill 5 days after the sex because we couldnt find nordette. We always used withdrawal.

@rachelle good to know. Just remember that ecps are last resort/options. It really messes up the cycle. While some do not experience the chaos and some do, the psychological impact really is very stressing. Anyway, again, responsibility starts within us and will define the circumstances involved.

@cloie the nordette might have messed up your cycle. Your cycle will go back to normal but some reported after 3 cycles. Since you had serum hcg done, its already very sensitive. The symptoms you are experiencing are hormonal in nature And that would be due to nordette in your system.

@calendargirl bakit kaya until now wala parin akong mens my wb last march 18.nag pt almost 8x negative lahat then last april 27 nag serum pt na ako negative.may breast tenderness at feeling bloated ako.

@rachelle based in the data you supplied, deed on day 3 of your cycle means you are not ovulating. So any fertilization would not occur. Ectopic pregnancies occur only if there is fertilization and that the implantation did not take place in the uterus but in the fallopian tube. Since the ft is not really fit or conducive for nutrition to the fetus, tendency is it will make itself not viable for preg. The symptoms you are experiencing are hormonal in nature thats brought to you by nordette. Its up to you if you like to do pt. Precum pregnancies are rare but could happen. Again in your case, you were not ovulating when you had your deed. You had withrawal method too. And you took nordette and you bled. You had nega pt too. Again, theres no need to do pt again but if you like to retest everyday until your next mens, its up to you. Its not really necessary though.

Btw, we always use the withdrawal method everytime we had unprotected sex. But the idea about precum is frightening.

Thank you so much miss @calendargirl for the immediate response, i guess i need to be patient for now. Im planning on taking a pregnancy test tomorrow morning again to be sure. What im worried most is that im experiencing pregnancy symptoms like bloating, frequent urination, nauseas but i dont experience sore breasts or tendernes. i recently learned about ectopic pregnancy and it adds up to my fear. Have u heard about it miss? I might just be overthinking too much or anxious so i want to hear your opinion about this. I really do hope that all of these was caused by nordette just like u said. I'll be hoping for your response, thank you again.

@rachelle as what many experienced, most of their cycle changed. Rundown: day3 deed; day4 nordette; bled after 4 days; day18 brownish; negatv pt; next mens expected to be 23/24th. Till now no mens. Actually, most of the time, you will count from first day of your withdrawal bleed as first day of mens. But you had in between bleed on day18, that would be the effect of the hormones. Rember that nordette is a hormone too which can drastically change ones cycle. So if you had discharge for 5 days, most probably its hormonal. Sex on your non-ovulating day is umderstandable that no fertilization would occur. According to lits, nordette taken early on your cycle would make your cycle shorter than usual. Maybe that would be the brownish discharge you experienced. Note that Implantation bleeding occurs 6-12 days after ovulation. So if you deed on day3 of your menstrual cycle, you are not ovulating that time. The symptoms of bloating maybe connected to nordette intake. Question away. Thank you !

Hi, this thread has helped me a lot and i am very thankful to miss @calendargirl for actively answering questions. This is my first time to ask a question here because i cant find the answer to my situation as i backread the thread.

Last february, i used nordette as ecp and it worked, my period came. I promised myself that it would be the last however, we had unprotected sex again last March 26 which is the 3rd day of my menstrual period. I noticed that my period stopped altogether so i took the first dosage of Nordette the next day (March 27, 4:10pm). Exactly 12hrs after, i took the second dose (March 28, 4:10am). I bled for two days on March 31 and April 1. Is it the continuation of my period or the wb?

And then by April 13 i was having brown spottings/discharge for 5 days. Is it caused by the ecp? Im worried that its an implantaion bleeding and the ecp didnt work.

Im still bloated til now and getting dizzy at times. So im worried that im pregnant.

Normally my menstruation is during the 23rd-24th day of the month but i did not bleed yet. So i took a pregnancy test and it came out to be negative.

I apologize for asking so many questions but i do hope that u can answer them.

@blacky youre not pregnant na. But if you like, Just to please your mind and have peace of mind, you can do pt next month if you are delayed which i doubt unless there are other circumstances. if you do it now, it will really be nega because youre really not pregnant. Just remember that responsibility is on ourselves. Its only us who decides our fate.

@blacky ok its the withdrawal bleed of nordette. Note that as your first day na rin para you can monitor your cycle. If you take another nordette for example, your cycle will change again. So if its not needed to take as frequently, its really a last resort to do so.
