Effects Ecotrin Vs Aspavor

i am 65 yrs old ,have been advised to take ecotrin during last 3 to 4 years .Recently experiencing back pain and kidney blood results showed elevated creatatine and urea levels and also experiencing breathlesness during my routine weekly tennis doubles games.My cardiologist changed script to aspavor 10mg .After reading the Literature I found, in the aspavor box and on Internet Ihave gone back to Ecotrin 81 mg on a 1 tablet every 2 days.Probably I may undergo a cholesterol blood check after a month.

The statin medications, such as Aspavor, do carry the risk of causing some problematic side effects, like dizziness, headache and joint/muscle aches.

Ecotrin contains Aspirin, which is a nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory, it is commonly used as a blood thinner and for heart health, but it will do nothing to lower your cholesterol, like the Aspavor would. Its typical side effects include nausea, dizziness, headache and stomach irritation, as listed by the FDA.
