what can I do to avoid nausea associated with codeine

Have you spoken to your doctor or pharmacist?

Sometimes, the nausea can easily be prevented by just making sure that you don't take it on an empty stomach.

I did check it with several over the counter medications, but I'm not finding anything, so far, that isn't listed as causing a possible reaction with the Codeine, so if you want to use something else, then I can only advise you to consult your doctor.
