Dry And Cracking Lips
UpdatedI have dry and cracking lips. I stopped wearing my lipsticks but the dryness continues. What can I use to repair my lips? They are often burning and it hurts too.

Hello, Juanita! How are you doing? Has there been any change?
I used to experience that, when I had forced air heat, since it tends to cause the air to be very dry, I tried everything to help, and none of the ointments, or lip balms worked. I didn't find any relief, until I started using a humidifier to keep the air moist.
It's also very important to make sure that you are taking in adequate fluids, since dry, cracking lips can be one of the first signs of dehydration.
How much liquid do you take in each day?
Are you on any medications that might be contributing to the problem?
