I am afraid to take the DOXY-CYCL HYCL 100mg tabs becaus eof the side effects. Yet I have been told I have cellucitis on my lower right leg. In cases where people left it untreated, they have lost limbs or had to have large sections of flesh and muscle tissue removed that resulted in permanent scarring and disfigurement. There have even been cases where it turned fatal, because the infection became systemic. I have been sick now for 2 weeks with deep coughing and having a hard time breathing. At first the doctor only prescribed an inhaler for me said I had bronchitis on top of a cold (no sneezing or runny nose) and told me to return in 2 wks. I was getting worse (alot of weezing, especially at night) so I went back in 1 wk and at that time the doctor gave me prednisone and doxy-cycl hycl 100mg to take for a wk. I am not sure I was prescirbed the right medication as I am not feeling any better. Been on the medicine now since Monday the 10th. ## Did he do any tests? I was given this drug for severe bronchitis and it has left me so tired. Will it help if I keep taking it? ## It sounds like the Doxycycline is really working hard on your system for you to be so tired.
