My wife has been taking purata for the last 6 months and i have noticed that she has lost her labido and has very little emotions, and has become a very hard person. I have read on this site another person with the same problem and would like to know if Purata contains the same drug build up as leximal.

No, they don't contain the same medication.
Purata contains the active ingredient Oxazepam, which is a Benzodiazepine derivative that's most commonly used to treat anxiety and nervous disorders.

And Lexamil contains the active ingredient Escitalopram, which is an SSRI antidepressant.

However, since they both work on similar brain chemicals, such as GABA and Serotonin, they can cause similar issues, such as what you've described.
Has she talked to her doctor about it? This may not be the right medication for her, or she may be on too high of a dosage.
