Propranolol is a beta blocker that is commonly used to treat high blood pressure and other cardiac problems.
However, I am assuming that you're not a doctor, so your supplying medications and making a diagnosis is inappropriate.
In addition, you would only be able to give a limited supply and, when he runs out, it is going to create additional problems for him, because these medications tend to have a rebound effect, when someone starts taking them abruptly. This could cause his blood pressure to go up even higher than it is, it could also cause heart palpitations and may require emergency care.
